• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed fog lights, signature light, then took a small cruise to Best Buy to check out a 75” tv and finished off at Harbor Freight Tools. Was hoping for my garage door opener to arrive, but I guess that will have to wait till tomorrow or Monday(thanks USPS!)

Bought/Ordered a new Subaru. Won't be delivered until February. SWMBO is very happy.
Then drove the Spyder on a good long ride to decompress. Wind Therapy.

Dropped mine off at the dealer for it's 3k mile service today. Should pick it up on Wednesday.

Yesterday was a good day (70 degrees) to pick up T'Challa from the dealer after getting it's first service. Took the longer way home, 30 miles as opposed to 20. ;)

What model did you get?

For “on topic” - I dusted my RTL off. It’s pretty well parked for the winter…….

Just received delivery of my new white front sprocket and bolt from Cheap Cycle parts. Now to install it. Replacing the original sprocket not because it failed but there is some rust showing and I wanted to be pro-active. Surprised as to how heavy that sprocket is, it weighs a bunch for such a relatively small part. I have the Honda paste in hand so I'm ready when the weather compels me to quit riding for a while. Now to install it. That may or may not be an adventure depending on whether the old sprocket is seized on the shaft. I'll update when done.

I order a 2022 Subaru Forester Touring.
As for the Spyder, I checked and adjusted the tire and air bag pressure.
Removed a brand new bar end mirror that would not hold position.
Sunday 21st is planned to be an end of the year ride for the Battle Born Spyders in Nevada.

Although I'm not a fan of riding when it's cold, I try to stay ready for that occasional warm winter day. I might actually dig out my electric gear that I've rarely used.

If I was in DE, I would do the same thing, but in Maine we break out the snowmobiles and wait for the road salt and ice to leave the roads before I ride!!:ohyea:

Good choice! We have the same in a ‘21 (plus a ‘21 Crosstrek Limited).

Spyder times are growing fewer and fewer. Temps tomorrow and Tuesday look decent, so maybe I can sneak one last ride. Still no significant snowfall at least.

Prepped for the ryde to the " Red Moose cafe" this cool Sunday also. Just about all of this ryde will be above 4500' ---- we're all bundled up.

Removed old front sprocket and replaced with a new white sprocket from Cheap Motorcycle Parts. Sure glad I had a gear puller because that old sprocket was not coming off without it. Lots of rust on the splines that was not so apparent on the outside of the old sprocket. Removed the old sprocket and used de-greaser to clean the rust off of the drive shaft splines and installed new sprocket with proper assembly grease. Splines on the old sprocket did not look all that good, they were worn and showed signs of the rust eating away the splines. Also, removed ECU to send to Wickit to get the Stage Two flash done. I had already changed the oil for the winter so as soon as the ECU is back, I'm ready to put it to bed for the winter.

Do you know if they resolved their battery drain issue ? (battery going dead if it sits too long with no use) Not sure of which models or years.
My ‘21 has sat for up to a month with no issues.

As for my Spyder - installed the mirror locks from LaMonster! No more shake!!!!
