• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I tried to adjust my right saddle bag on my 2020 RT so it would open easier. Managed to snap the lever off:yikes:. Bringing it in Friday to have a dealer replace.

Installed some Carbon fiber on 2 places that have really gotten scratched easy. The black paint is terrible. Got it from WrapMySpyder . They have great videos on how to install and FANTASTIC customer service ! Probably get the knee Carbon and switch panel next.

pretty much got everything on the list completed on both RT's. Last weekend rode to the Cascade Mountains, aprox 300 miles was great, still getting used to three wheels for sure. Decided to add an F4 shield, taller and wider for myself, Julie is ok with the stock shield. Heading to Quinault, WA for the weekend... rain or shine. Had to remove the thick foam grips mid trip, just too much girth, was causing issues for both of us. Stock feels better, might try the other brand/make, thinner I'm told. Pedal command has been great as is the additional lighting from Slingmods. Ride on!

Forgot to mention the storage mods. Really like the mesh pocket for the frunk lid as well as the frunk and saddlebag luggage.

Pedal Command....
Agreed, lots of adjustability/flexibility, best/easiest mod so far with the greatest impact for riding comfort/control. After we installed them (first ride), i made a big mistake and advanced the setting to sport + while trying to turn it off, basically the throttle turns in to an on/off switch! Great piece of tech for sure, we mounted them behind the right cover (just behind master cylinder) after getting used to them and now use the app to adj. Most of the time set to City + .

I did the opposite - started at City +1 and notched it up as I went along. Then I tried Sport+ just for giggles. Holy rocket ship Batman. I knew it would accelerate - I didn't know it would accelerate THAT fast! I'm comfortable with City +4. Higher in the twisties.
I see no need for an ECU reflash.

Installed a Cat Delete and a pair of Bar End Mirrors.
Tomorrow I will do a road test and see how it performs.

.

Installed a Trailer Hitch yesterday that I purchased from Slingmods.com. Installation was simple. It took me about 20 minutes at max! Very happy with the installation. **Note** - This did not include the wiring.

I agree, not leaning towards the ECU flash either. We had hoped to get a bit more time in the saddle and tweak the levels a bit, if the weather cooperates we'll get there! Yeah, when it hit Performance +, as they say up nort (the UP) Holy Buckets!
We stayed in Quinault last sat/sun, should not have taken I5 on sat though... lane closures, ugh! Came back through Port Angeles, took the ferrie (kingston/edmonds). We were refused service at Taylors Restaurant (port angeles) for not having a vaccination card... that was a first us. We are in healthcare and inline for our booster shots. Oh well, was an amazing stay and ride through a beautiful area.

Thanks for that. I never did like I-5 from Olympia to Everett, and I never cared for Taylor's restaurant either.

Yesterday took wife with me on my RTL. Rode from yakima wa to stevenson wa to eat. Had some rain on way there an little rain on way back along the colombia river.

Today took wife with me on my spyder from yakima wa up an over blewit pass to wenachee. Had lunch an came back thru quincy to vantage to ellensburg an back to yakima. Couple good rides. Tomorrow take both spyders to prosser wa. Eat lunch an then go back to hanford gate, turn there head west back to yakima.

Started installation of a pair of LEDs to monitor my turn signals.
They will be buried in the mesh of the speaker grills located in plain sight.
I can't see the dim/tiny OEM arrows in the Speedometer face.

#1- Ordered Battery risers from Lamonster #2- researched cam corders for my RT. #3- ordered the little thing that holds up trunk lid #4- researched new Garmin GPS as I lost mine. #5- ordered replacement barge cords for my Garmin Car Express in case I can’t find my Zumo GPS Other than that had nothing to do all day accept play golf.

Changed oil and filter. Checked all fluids and filters.
Went for short ride. Getting ready to put her away but going to have nice weather all week so not yet.
