• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I now have my BajaRon Swaybar installed. I also have installed the HALO Skid plate. Now I need No Rain or Snow so that I can try them out....I just don’t know how long that will take.

Cleaned up after riding a loop through the valley between South and Catoctin mountains yesterday, after cleanup installed a battery tender quick connect on the battery.

Did you use star washers? If so were they the internal or external and what size were they? All I have here local fit rather loose so I'm looking for the right size before ordering some.

Remove the negative terminal bolt for size and dig through you cigar box / Mason jar of fastener odds and ends. A split lock washer will work just as well. Or any hardware store or building supply will have them. No need to order two lock washers.

Thanks but the smallest I have is 1/4" and they are too big. I was wanting the star washers but could go with regular split lock washers.

I do know that a #10 is too small and a 1/4" is too big in the star washers, my stores have nothing in between. I'll head over to Home Depot to see what they have in split lock washers.

No star washers used, just a lockwasher. I guess if I wanted to spend the time looking for one I could install them.

No problem. I've found out that they are 6mm so getting regular lock washers will not be a problem. Still have to order them as no one in my little town has them. We don't even have a hardware store. lol.

My new RLS Torpedo exhaust arrived yesterday. Installed it last night. Really like the look of it and the sound is great. I've got to say that the BRP engineers that installed the OEM muffler with a healthy dose of orange locktite should give that another thought. Real wrestling match to remove the rear mounting bolt on the OEM but other than that very straight forward install. I like it.

Just patted the Spyder on her seat as I passed by on my way to work.
Will ride as soon as the salt and brine is washed off the local streets and highways.
It raining/snowing today so there is hope for a ride this weekend.
Temp will be in the 40's.

OEM BRP Carbon Black floorboards confirmed to be shipped and out for delivery, just ordered the floorboard risers and a F3 Linex brake pedal from Pierre and have a quote request in to Ultimate for a Tallboy seat to see about availability per their website.

Here in Northern Nevada the ice and snow melted this past few days.
Temp in the 50's and roads are dry. Truly a change from last week's blizzards and road closures.
Installed DIY handle bar mirrors on the F3T and tested the install.
Today I was able to ride 82 miles just to keep in saddle shape.

Changed oil and checked all fluid levels. I give my Spyder a hug daily. Here in SC we can ride most days even in winter. Rode in annual Polar Ride last Saturday (temp 80 degrees).
