• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Replaced my grips on my Spyder F3-S

I replaced my grips with a set of ProGrips 719 that I bought from Lamonster.
I cut the old grips off , however BRP glued the right/throttle grip on and it took
a little work to remove and clean up the glue. Installed them with WD40 and
they fit perfectly.

Good evening!

We recently purchased a pair of (white) 2020 Spyder RT's. I'll give dealer feedback after I've had time to cool down. My wife and I decided to make the leap to the 3 wheel world about a year ago, which is when the wheels were set in motion. Took delivery approx a month ago after settling into our new place in Lake Stevens, WA, relocated from West Salem, WI. I have been busy installing the mods and accessories, mine is almost complete... for now! Having this forum has been WONDERFUL! So many great ideas and "how to" threads, just awesome. Should have done more research on spyder pricing and extended warranty prices, where to enroll/purchase, live and learn....
The thing about having 2 spyders, accessorizing both gets a bit spendy, but I love spending the time personalizing them for us, big brownie points from Julile for doing all the work is kinda cool too.

What have I done so far.
BajaRon Sway bar and ends
Adj removable backrest
KOTT radiator screens
A-Arm running/turn signal leds
Brake light/running/turn signal leds
Double horn (118db)
fuse block for accessories
Helibars / handlebars
wider brake pedal
Garmin XT's
Lamonster gps HB clamp mount's
touratech locking gps mount's (not yet attached)
throttle command's
stubby antenna
lamonster mirror fix
convex rearview mirror add ons
tender plug in
luggage liner/bags
super bright rear led "winker" bulbs

Just finished most of it mine, handlebars, backrest and rear light package will be completed on julies for long weekend of riding. Just ordered the belt idler and foam grip covers, I think that'll do us for a while!

Hair spray works a lot better than WD40 as it eventually dries into an adhesive.

Fixed the air suspension failure. Bypassed the leaking system ( failed compressor, dump valve with solenoid, AND numerous air connectors( one of which is a swivel ( also spelled LEAK). A few hours work with Joe Meyers advice. ( dirty in there though ). Half the job was R and R the right side tupperware. Saved many hundreds of dollars.

Removed the rod that connects the swing arm to the level sensor that controls the air compressor ( which has been disconnected) Right now ----- simple is better.

Made an adjustment to my handle bars height and grip rotation then test rode, adjusted again, test rode, adjusted again, test rode. Finally good.

Installed Lamonster belt tensioner today. Noticeable vibration(s) seem to be gone between 68-73. I still have vibration in grips and foot boards. Previous owner just put new Kenda radial on it before I bought. Vibration doesn't seems to be at any specific speed.

Went on another grandma, grandpa, granddaughter lunch ride. Granddaughter rides her own two wheeler. I love these outings with my girls.
The new to me Elkas really made a big improvement in ride and handling, both solo and two up. I put them on just a couple days prior.

Installed a Pedal Commander. Now I know why all the enthusiasm over it. I like that it's very controllable, anywhere from off to Holy Crap! If anyone is contemplating a reflash, give the PC a try first. With a reflash, you get what no got, no flexibility on the fly like the PC offers up. Makes like easier on my wrist too.

Well, today being the last day of summer and having temperature still in the 75°F. range I decided to go for a short ride for lunch. I got in touch with a buddy of mine and we went on a circle ride for lunch. We stopped at a pub for lunch (food) and just enjoyed the last day of summer. The circle we did included going over a small mountain with lots of ups and downs, twists and turns and a small amount of road construction. Total distance was 137.3 kms....85 miles for most of you. A very enjoyable ending to summer. There were a lot of bikes on the road and even a couple of Spyders.

That’s what I did to my Spyder today.

.

Got the :spyder2: ready for our trip to Bishop, Ca. Now that the cooling and air bag problems are fixed hte :spyder2: is ready for anything.

Installed LED fog lights from slingmods a few days ago. Left side is a PITA, kinda of tight in there. Headlights will come later. I can see why some videos had the frunk removed to replace the lights.

Installed the color coded dashboard (Asphalt Grey Metallic) on my Spyder today. Also installed the 3d printed trunk holder from CASA.
Then went for a short ride.
