Thanks to Little Blue for starting & running the Monthly Weather News threads for so long, we've certainly appreciated it. Many have come to look forward to it, most enjoy the daily updates from all & sundry, and we get to share the Weather News from all corners of the World too! :ohyea: Little Blue, we'll miss you starting the threads & keeping them going for us all, so here's to you hearing & achieving good things on the health front  and we're certainly hoping that whilever you can, you won't be a stranger to these threads or the Forum  As always, sending   & Healing Thoughts your way! :firstplace:

So with that in mind, & knowing that no matter what I do, it just won't be quite the same, I'll kick off this thread of Little Blue's Weather News with the now traditional Welcome to the Month of AUGUST 2021.

Here in the Adelaide Hills on the other side of the World from so many of you, the morning of 01 August has kicked off with patches of fog, overcast, & threatening rain... Our o/night temp was a tad lower, but by 07:00 it had just managed to claw it's way up to 6.0°C - only the a cold breeze blowing straight off the Southern Ocean freezer meant it felt more like 0°C, and that's even before I started my morning ryde! We're not expecting the local day-time temps to climb much above about 14°C today, with a likelihood of intermittent rain too; and a week of the same to kick off the Month of August! There's been plenty of pretty damp & miserable winter weather here in my part of Oz lately, pushed along by strong & gusty winds; but at least it's meant that if I time my morning ryde juuust right & get out there between the showers, the sun lights up all the freshly washed scenery in a pretty phenomenal way! And we've got a lot of that phenomenal scenery just out the front door to go ryde in! What a blast! :ohyea:

What's it like in your part of the World? :dontknow: Give us a heads up & help keep Little Blue's Monthly Weather Thread going strong! Welcome to August and the latest chapter of Little Blue's Weather News.........

In Vermont it is raining, cloudy. Temps in the 60's.

Towards the end of the week, the temps in the 80's.

August is the desert S.W. is starting out with typical weather. At noon it is 100 degrees and heading for a high of 105. There is a slight chance of some monsoon rain this afternoon. When it happens, it usually only lasts for 45 minutes to an hour.

If the weather posting is to continue, I would like to suggest we continue to call it "Little Blue" in honor of it's founder. And, hopefully he will continue to contribute. Stay safe..... Jim

August has started off in Utah with rain in various and sundry parts. A beginning of our monsoon season. There is flooding in Enoch Cedar City Tooele all along the Wasatch front and it is raining right now and has been every night for the last 4 days. The grass is starting to green back up a little and maybe some of the hay crop will be saved. Good riding in the morning and early afternoon.

10-14 day looks above normal temps. Looking forward to a dry (mostly) ride to Sturgis/eastern WY starting tomorrow.

Weekend Weather

 .......Yesterday was the start of my treatments. .........

Indiana weather has been wonderful all week. The humidity was low and the temperatures were in 70°F to 80°F. Almost a Fall type season. No rain here for 11 days. Grass has turned brown and the leaves are dropping off several trees.

High of 86°F with sunshine, low of 68°F.

Have a great weekend. .....

Good thoughts and prayers coming your way Little Blue!

As to weather here in southcentral PA... after an absolutely wonderful week of cool weather, we have returned to 90+ degree days -- predicted for next 5 days.

Ride safe,
Gina J

Rain the last couple mornings. Nice soakers for a couple hours. The lawn is almost back to all green again.

Today, 90 with sun. No more rain expected until Tuesday next. Going to get in some ride time.

The desert S.W. has been experiencing 110-113 days and lows in the mid 80s at night for the last few days. No rain for the last week. Starting Tuesday it looks like we'll be back in monsoon mode which usually brings afternoon showers and cooler temperatures. Our humidity has been relatively high for us at 30-40%. When it gets to the 50% range we almost always have monsoons develop. Stay safe..... Jim

Mostly lower eighties and lower nineties here for the Rally. Best weather we’ve had for the Rally in awhile.
