Well, suppose to be a little warmer today. Calling for some clouds and sunshine.
Yesterday rain was a little to much. So now we are dealing with some excess water
areas in the yard. We also had some lite snow showers and some sleet.
I was glad to have cut some of the grass. Currently overcast sky 41°F.

Today's high should be about 59°F with some sunshine.
Low at 36°F and cloudy.

Be careful when driving in areas of water on the road.

Spring time weather has arrived here in the desert. At 9AM it was 80 degrees. The forecast high for today is 97 but I expect we'll be a bit warmer than that. The wind is calm and there are no clouds.

The 10 day forecast now shows temperatures in the 90s every day and overnight lows in the 60s. This is very typical for this time of year. Later in the summer we will have overnight lows in the 90s! That's when it gets really uncomfortable... and dangerous. No relief from the heat.

Tomorrow we expect to be close to 100 degrees again. If there is not a good breeze, I will wimp-out on my usual Friday car show and float in our pool instead. Sitting in a parking lot with little or no breeze in 100 degree temperatures is not enjoyable to me. A good breeze and lots of ice water makes it tolerable.

Stay safe... Jim

The number three thing about Arizona is just what 'canamjhb' posted in #22. Good Ole Indiana weather has been crazy all this year. Never been over 80°F so far in 2025. Everyone has to do what ever is the Best for their Health.
Sorry but 90s really don't work out for me. Currently overcast sky at 37°F. No rain in the forecast for us today.

Still have standing water areas in my yard. So the grass continues to grow. I will try and be patient until it dries up.
So maybe start next week 🤔. I hope.

High today of 50°F with some clouds and sunshine.
Low at 30°F and a freeze warning.
The wife will need to cover her flowers tonight.

Be Happy and Enjoy your Day.

My thoughts on Arizona vs Indiana heat.

I grew up in S. California, and spent a lot of time in the desert near Joshua Tree and 29 Palms, which is North of Palm Springs.
In the Summer, temps are regularly above 100 F, especially in July and August due to the Santa Ana wind conditions.

Because the winds are flowing East to West off the desert the humidity is very low, often in the single digits.
Even though the temps were very high, as long as you stayed out of direct sunlight it was bearable.

Then I moved to Indiana in August, where I thought I was going to die.
The temps were in the 80s F but the humidity was very high.
I can remember the first morning I left my new apartment to go to work I stepped out of the air conditioned apartment building, and by the time I got to my car I thought I had been dryer when I stepped out of a hot shower a short time before.

Yes, that has not changed. Some people say it's a good thing but for me it's just something I have learned to deal with over the years. Talking about the humidity thing. I love the Four Seasons of Indiana. (y)

Yes, the yard is still wet. Maybe get a chance to cut some grass next week. I sure hope so. Getting to be 4" to 6" tall.

Low at 42°F with more sun 🌞.
Enjoy your Ryde Times.

Sunday's high is 63°F with clouds and sunny 🌞.

Have a Safe Weekend and enjoy time with the family. This sunday is 'Palm Sunday'.

Only 2 seasons here in the desert. Sunny and pleasant (winter) and then frying-pan hot (summer). And it seems that every change from one to the other happens in a day or two with not much warning. I guess today could be considered spring because it will only get to 100 degrees. Our current humidity is 5% and we are experiencing filtered sunshine through a thin cloud cover. The wind is calm. Our low humidity does make the heat much more tolerable. I'm okay for most activities up to about 105 degrees. Above that, I will avoid any prolonged exposure and travel from one air-conditioned area to another. Stay safe..... Jim

Welcome to Monday morning and Indiana weather news. The talk is about the farmers planting. I just can't believe that it's almost that time. Yes, I am looking forward to the warmer temperatures. Bring it on and let's Ryde. Yesterday's sunshine was nice and but the wind was a little bit cold.
So I am still waiting for some real warm up and calmer winds. I really don't enjoy the pushing feel.

Currently it is clear sky and 57°F. I hope the wind is favorable. If not, I am
still going to Ryde my Spyder Today.
Maybe get in a shorter period 🤔.
The wife said she is not going till next month. I said that will be fine 🙂.

Today numbers are looking good 👍.
High of 69°F with mostly cloudy sky.
Low at 43°F and no rain today.
Ryde if you're able and Stay Safe.

Tax Day is Today!!
And now with the Weather News.

Yesterday's sunshine was great and the wind was lite. I was able to get my Spyder out of the garage. Then ryde for my 'first'. Such a wonderful experience. Glad to be in the saddle again.

Currently cloudy and definitely cooler temperatures today. It is 47°F with a wind chill of 39°F. Maybe get some rain 🌧 showers today.

Today's high will be only 52°F and cloudy sky. Wind at 20mph.
Low of 34°F. Roller-coaster weather is still hanging on in Indiana.

Everything is good for now.
I hope you have a great Ryde Time. 👍

I filed my US taxes yesterday. I'm getting a $154 refund!

Now I gotta figure out what new farkles I'm going to buy for my Spyder!

Well today is going to be a little warmer than yesterday. The wind was at 20mph making it feel like winter.
Currently overcast sky and 36°F.
I still have water standing in my backyard. The grass is growing like crazy here. I guess everyone is dealing with the same problem in Indiana.

Today's numbers are 58°F for the high.
Mostly sunny 🌞.
Low at 40°F. No rain here.

Have yourself a Blessed Day.

Currently it's 82 degrees here in the desert. Predicted high for today is 90. Humidity is 14% and there are no clouds. The breeze is light...... about 3 MPH. Tomorrow it will cool down into the 70s through the weekend. Then we'll be back to the 80s and low 90s next week. Stay safe..... Jim

The current temp is 34 degrees and we are having snow flurries, altho it is the middle of April! It is a cloudy, gray, cool, and raw day. Some of the mountains here in Vermont are getting some snow accumulations, anywhere from 4 to 12 inches of snow.

On Thursday, they are forecasting snow showers in the morning, but the second half of Thursday will be drier with more sunshine. The temps will be in the 50's, but the warming trend doesn't stop there. Highs on Friday will be back in the 60's and it'll be sunny, at least for the morning.

Late Friday morning, clouds will move in ahead of the next round of rain. Showers will start in the late afternoon/early evening and will continue throughout the day Saturday. But we should see some breaks between showers, and the temps will be warm, in the 60's.

The weekend is not likely to be a complete washout, we should expect it to be brighter and drier on Sunday, just a bit cooler - in the low to mid 50's. Next week we will get warmer and drier weather, and the temps will be in the upper 50's/lower 60's.

Well friends, the sunshine 🌞 is slowly getting back. Seems like this year has been moving somewhat in the slow mode. Still have a very soggy yard and the grass is growing fast. I am going to cut some grass today. Gee I sure hope so.

Currently cloudy sky at 40°F.
No rain in our forecast.
High today of 66°F with some clouds.
Low at 56°F.

Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able.
Remember this Sunday is Easter.
Spend some time with friends and family.

The desert has cooled down. Currently it's 68 degrees, humidity at 43%, 5 MPH breeze, and sunny. There are a few distant puffy clouds. The high today will be a comfortable 78 degrees and the overnight low will be 59. We'll continue to have temperatures in the 70s until Easter when we'll get back to the 80s. Stay safe..... Jim

Yes! I actually did cut most of my lawn. The wife said it was beautiful. Some areas needed to be cut twice due to the height.
I got it done.

Currently cloudy sky and 61°F. Calling for a good day for us and a definitely needed Spyder Ryde Time.

Today's high at 78°F with mostly sunny sky.
Low of 62°F. A 10% chance of getting some rain showers tonight.

Now the weather people are thinking there's a good chance of a wet weekend here. So our Easter plans are going to be a little bit of a challenge. You know, kids and eggs 🥚 and things.

Ryde if you can and enjoy.
Till Next Time my Friend. (y)

Weekend Weather from Indiana. Currently we have heavy rains 🌧. This is going to be an all day long thing. Expecting an inch or so by the end of the day. The temperature is 69°F so this is a warm rain. We will enjoy rains all weekend. I was able to get most of my yard work done yesterday.

High today of 71°F with rain.
Low at 50°F and more rain.

Sunday is looking about the same.
More rain and more rain.
We will have our Easter Celebration
indoors. It works for me.

Sunday's high is 73°F with some rain.
Low at 63°F with some rain showers.

Happy Easter and Enjoy Life.
Till Next Time. (y)

Welcome back from the Easter Weekend. I hope you had a good time with your family and friends. The wife and I were very happy with our Sunday Easter Dinner. It is what it's all about. Also most of the afternoon was beautiful sunshine.

Currently cloudy sky and we have rain this morning. The temperature is 61°F. The rain is supposed to stop around 8:00 am. I am seeing some large puddles in my yard.

Today's high at 64°F with clouds.
Low of 43°F and no rain.

Till Next Time. (y)

The current temp here in Vermont is 47 degrees, with sunshine and cooler temps. The sunshine will begin to fade to more clouds this afternoon and the chance of a few rain showers. Daytime highs will climb back into the upper 50's and lower 60's. Tonight, a few showers will stick around as overnight lows fall into the 40's and lower 50's.

The showers will be over by the time most of us head out the door on Tuesday morning. Clouds gradually begin to diminish into the afternoon hours, but could linger a bit long right along the Canadian border. Tuesday's highs will again climb back into the 60's.

The weather will be dry and pleasant through the midweek. Temps will trend warmer by Thursday and Friday, with the chance to see highs in the low 70's by Friday (WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!) The next chance for showers will be late in the week and early next weekend.
