Currently it's 108 here in the desert. Todays high will be 113+ (OUCH) It's a little breezy, 8-10 MPH. The overnight low will be 78. Humidity is 15%. There are a few wispy clouds but nothing that will bring us much needed rain and cool down. The 10 day forecast shows a slow and modest cooling trend, but no days below 100 degrees. Stay safe...... Another week of fall type temps. Rain in the forecast for the next couple days.

Yesterday we had a high of 117 degrees. That was the highest temperature ever recorded during the month of September in Phoenix. It was a little cooler today but still broke the record for the date. Later tonight I'm picking up some Canadian friends flying in for the winter. Boy, are they in for a surprise! Stay safe..... Jim

:chat:....Welcome to the Last Day of September 2024. It has been a very rainy weekend here in Indiana. My yard is extremely wet and looks terrible from all the leaves and branches that are down. Going to be a major cleanup day. More work than I wanted to deal with this week.

Currently cloudy sky and 66°F. No rain in the forecast for us. The Farm fields are not workable for a few days or more. Hopefully not to much crop damage. Time will tell about that problem.

High today of 76°F with clouds.
Low at 61°F.

Praying for those who lost their homes and trying to recover from the weather. ....ray:
The TV News showed a lot of damage.
