:chat:....As they say 'Welcome to June' and school is out for the summer. I remember those days of 50+ years ago. So far this year has been moving very quickly and it seems that I am standing still.
That's the difficult part of getting older and wiser.

High 80's today. We went for a nice 50 mile ride in the twisties. Intermittent clouds. We got about 20 drops of rain on us in one area.

Tropical Storm because vacation starts on Monday.

Sure do hope my rain gear is up to the challenge.

:chat:...Yesterday was a beautiful sunshine day but way to hot, 88°F. So much for rain showers coming today, currently we have 75°F.
The grass is starting to turn brown and the soil is cracked.

High today of 90°F with sunshine. Low of 64°F.
No rain till next week.

Weekend Weather 6/03/23

...Welcome to the First Weekend of June. Another sunny day and a full moon tonight, currently 65°F. Indiana is running hot with the temperatures in the 90s for the next couple of days.

Today we will have 91°F with sunshine. Low of 58°F. No rain in the forecast.
Sunday's high is 90°F and sunny. Low of 53°F.

The desert S.W. is starting June with slightly below average temperatures.....and that's a good thing! Today's high will be 97 and the overnight low will be 70. Humidity is at 14%, there are no clouds, and there is a 5 MPH breeze. It looks like we will see low 100s starting tomorrow for a couple of days. Then the forecast has us settling into the mid 90s for another week. Signing off now and heading for the pool. Stay safe..... Jim

Monday 6/05/23

Welcome back from your Weekend, currently 54°F here in Indiana. No rain here for 3 weeks. Everything is turning brown. Hopefully we will get some rain in the near future.

Today's sunshine is going to be 83°F.
Low of 54°F. Still waiting for some rain showers.
Maybe get some later this week.

It was 103 yesterday and will be the same today here in the desert S.W. Overnight lows are in the mid 70s. There are a few very thin high clouds and there's a 5 MPH breeze. We'll have a bit of a cooling trend starting tomorrow. Stay safe..... Jim

Tuesday 6/06/23

:helpsmilie:...We need some rain in good ole Indiana, currently we have 57°F and sunny.
We have not received any rain in over three weeks. The farmers are starting to get a little worried about the weather. This was going to go a great year for Indiana. Now we are not very happy with the lack of rain.
If you have extra rain or showers, please send us a day or two. Thanks and have a Blessed Day.

Numbers for today are 84°F and 59°F.
Maybe get some rain tonight. I sure hope so.
My tomato plants are looking good.

Low 80’s in the Hills. Did Iron Mt. Road, S. Playhouse rd to Needles Hwy, and Hwy 36 back home. Great day to ride.

The weather gurus said it got to 107 in the valley yesterday. I only saw 103 for a high where I live. But it was the hottest day of the year for us. Currently it's 83 with an 11% humidity. There is a 7 MPH breeze. Our high today will be 98 and it will be even cooler tomorrow. We had an unusually cool winter with temperatures averaging about 10 degrees below normal for most of the season. It sure would be nice to see 10 below normal for the summer too!!! Stay safe..... It is Raining

:yes:...I have enjoyed watching the little rain shower. It has been 15 minutes and still falling.
News People said it will be spotty and lite.

Oh well, anything is better than nothing.

....Welcome to my local area weather news, currently we have overcast and 62°F.
Possibly going to rain this morning. We had some very lite drizzle yesterday evening. Just enough to get everything wet and then it stopped. :banghead:

Today we will have some sunshine mixed up with a little cooler temperatures.
High of 78°F, low of 51°F.

Thursday 6/08/23

...Well another day and not one little drop of rain. Currently clear sky and 52°F. They are saying that we might get some rain showers this weekend. I say bring it on (rain).

I have not cut my grass in 3 weeks. I told the wife if it rains a good amount then I will cut some grass. She likes the grass to be cut and make the property more attractive.
Yes, she is watering the flowers and 'my tomato plants'.
Man, I love that girl. ....:yes:

Today it's going to be sunny. High of 77°F.
Low at 49°F. No rain in Indiana Forecast for me.

A little sidebar for you that follow. I had a great report for my 'Health Issue'. I Thank God for Healing Power.

Here in Vt. it is 55 degrees and cloudy.

We still have the same upper level of low keeping us cool and showery today, but some of us had some sunshine. We can expect similar conditions on Friday, before we start to shift the other way this weekend.

Scattered showers will continue to tonight and into tomorrow, although there shouldn't be as many showers after sunset. Friday starts with temps in the upper 40's to low 50's and a mostly cloudy skies. A few showers remain possible with scattered showers developing again over of today. Like today, we'll see variable condtions from town to town and through the day. Showers will be possible at times with clouds and some breaks of sun. A few rumbles of thunder are possible. Temps will be a couple degrees warmer than today in the upper 50's to mid 60's.

We won't fully rid of that low pressure system Saturday, so a few showers remain possible into the afternoon. The warming trend continues with some low 70's possible. Sunday is looking great. We should be dry and partly cloudy with warmer temps in the mid to upper 70's. The next low pressure system moves thru early next week with some lingering showers into midweek.



The worst of the Canadian smoke plume continues to stay south of us Friday. Air quality won't be a concern. We could still see a little bit of the upper level smoke, but there shouldn't be much close to the ground.

Here in Vt. it feel's like Fall! :gaah:

....Well yesterday's weather was awesome but still no rain. The weather people are saying maybe some rain showers on Sunday. Currently we have cloudy skies and 51°F.

Today's high should be 79°F with lots of sunshine. Low of 54°F.

Weekend Weather 6/10 - 6/11/23

...Good Morning and Welcome to the WEEKEND. Currently we have 53°F and sunny. Try to enjoy your time and ryde if you are able. Wind Therapy is a real deal.

Today we will have sunshine and a high of 85°F. Low of 61°F.

Sunday's high is 67°F with rain showers off and on all day. Low at 50°F. If we get the rain that would be awesome.
I hopping for at least an inch of rain in my little area of the World. We have been without rain for almost 4 weeks now.

At 11:30 AM it is 90 degrees here in the desert S.W. We're headed for a high of 98 today. The overnight low will be 68. Humidity is at 7% and there are a few high thin clouds in the distance. This evening there is a community "social" with music and entertainment pool-side. It's a bring your own beverage event. Should be perfect weather for old people acting crazy-nuts as the sun goes down. Stay safe..... Jim

Monday 6/12/23

hyea:...I received over a half inch of rain yesterday, currently we have overcast and 55°F. Thankfully it was a very gentle rain and the wife had a great time. Now we wait for the grass to grow.

The Weather People are saying that we might get some rain tonight or tomorrow morning. Definitely need more rain. I say bring it on.

Today's high 68°F with clouds. Low of 53.
Tomatoe plants are still doing there thing.
Looking good and very green.
