You are welcome to some of ours atm too!! Flash Flooding & lotsa rain a few days ago; more flash flooding and continual rain today; forecast for flash flooding and rain to tomorrow and thru the next week too!

Next week here in VT. it will be humid and off/on rain showers.

This weekend started off with a soaking rain on Saturday Some spots picked up over an inch of rain, Today will be partly sunny, and unfortunately some of the wildfire smoke from Canada may make it into the northern sections of Vt. Heading into the afternoon, a cold front will stall out and bring scattered showers and thunderstorms.Unlike Saturday, the precipitation will be scattered, but any thunderstorms may produce locally heavy downpours. It will be warmer, with highs in the upper 70's and low 80's. Dew points will be well into the 60's making for another humid day.

The stalled -out front will keep showers and thunderstorms around on Monday, with locally heavy downpours. Then a low pressure will move in and stick around right into Friday. Everyday will have very humid conditions, with showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. Locally heavy downpours are possible through the week, so as the ground gets saturated we'll have to keep an eye on for possible flooding from runoff, especially late in the week. High temps will be mainly in the upper 70's with lows in the muggy 60's.

I am not complaining!

Perfect weather here in northern Utah mountains. 60s and 70s. Just stopped with the afternoon showers and the yard is greening up nicely.

Let's hear from Texas!

Here in the desert S.W, walking outside on some days feels like being covered by a warm blanket. And, other days, it feels like walking into an oven! Today was an oven day. Our community pool has aerators they usually have on a night to keep the water from getting too hot. The last 3 days the aerators have been going full time all day. Makes for a nice, refreshing relief from the heat. Stay safe..... Jim

Monday /26/23

Good morning and Welcome to Monday, currently we have 67°F. I got about 10 minutes of rain showers late Sunday night. Just enough to get everything wet. We are still very dry.

Weather News People are saying a 20% chance in the afternoon and evening. Things are not looking good and the Indiana Farmers are saying drought conditions are high.
Praying for rain every day........

Today's high is 79°F with lots of sunshine.
Low at 61°F. We need more rain.

Stay Safe and Enjoy your Day. ....

:gaah:...Still no rain yesterday for me. We did receive a little rain about 20 miles to the north. But that doesn't help my yard. Possibly some rain showers later in the week. Currently we have cloudy skies and 63°F.

Today's high is 77°F with some sunshine.
Low of 53°F.
June is coming to the end. Just three days to go.

Enjoy your Ryde Times. .....

At 11 AM it is 95 degrees here in the desert S.W. Headed for a high of 105+. The overnight low will be 77. Currently the humidity is 4% and we have a 5 MPH breeze. There are no clouds. There are a few little things needing to be done around the house, then, off to the pool to socialize with friends. The 3-wheeler is comfortably tucked away under cover, battery tender attached, waiting for cooler riding weather. Stay safe..... Jim

Wednesday 6/28/23

:coffee:...Welcome to Wednesday, currently we have 54°F and fog. We received a 30 minute rain shower yesterday afternoon. ....
I am thankful for what we received. ....
We are still about 3" short for June.

Thanks for your Prayers and hopefully we will see some more rain very soon.
My tomatoes are saying we need more rain.
The wife is watering them as needed.
I think that this will be a bad year for the garden.

Today's weather is 85°F with some sunshine.
Low of 66°F. No rain in the forecast for us today.

Stay Safe and Enjoy Your Day. ....

HOT, HOT, HOT!!!! Today and for the next 10 days the forecast is for temperatures of 104-108 for daytime highs with overnight lows right about 80. Those temperatures are for the part of the valley where I live. Other areas are seeing highs in excess of 110 every day now. There are no clouds or rain in the foreseeable future. Almost every day there are news reports of people being rescued from hiking trails. They are almost ALL people from out of town, visiting the area. Not used to the heat and do not hydrate sufficiently. Lots of the popular trails are being "closed" because of heat. Despite that, people will ignore warnings and closures. Heat related illnesses can come on very quickly and can be fatal. Please exercise caution if visiting high temperature areas over the holiday. Stay safe..... Jim

Thursday 6/29/23

:chat:....First off, try and stay cool Jim.
I really wouldn't want to be there for all that heat.
So no rain yesterday. Currently we have 67°F with some fog/smoke.
Weather People are saying maybe some rain showers later in the evening.

The high today is 83°F with some sunshine.
Low of 67°F.
Try and stay cool and enjoy your Day. ....

We didn't quite drop below 0°C, but neither did we make double digits (in °C) here today; the windchill never moved off the 'bloody freezing' mark all day; and the constant misty rain that wasn't quite snowflakes didn't let up either! Brrr!

But we are seeing more daylight each & every day now; the longest night of the year Down Under has passed, and we're heading for Spring! :ohyea:

Wicked hot and humid, 80° at 4am.

Was to hot/humid to sit outside and drink my coffee, my dog Marzipan said are you nuts I'm not going for a 3 mile walk you idiot.

She was right I only managed 1.8.

June 30th

:coffee:...Welcome to Friday and the very last day of June 2023. We had a storm past through our local weather area. It was just a little to much. Power lines were ripped off the poles and leaving some of us without electricity for several hours. Maybe received 5/10ths of rain.
Currently we have cloudy skies and 67°F.

The smoke from Canada is a terrible problem for a lot of people. I am having a little issue with my breathing. Hopefully this rain will clear the air.

Today's high is 88°F but the heat index is going to be 101°F. Inside activities for me.
Low at 69°F.
Still possible air quality problems today.

Stay Healthy and enjoy your Day. ....

Today it will only get to 105 here in the desert S.W. But...... Starting tomorrow, we have an excessive heat warning that will last until at least next Tuesday. We will see temperatures to 115+ in areas of the S.W. There is a VERY BIG difference between 105 and 115. I can tolerate 105 pretty well but above that, it's time to stay in an air conditioned area or the swimming pool. Even the short 1 mile ride to the pool in my golf cart is uncomfortable when the heat is excessive. Welcome to the desert S.W. in July..... Stay safe..... Jim
