It has been very windy and wet the past two days here in Indiana. We are short on rain so it was a much needed rain. Currently clear sky and we are at 37°F. Looking forward to the warmer weather of Spring. Ole Man Winter, please give up and let Spring do it right.

Today's high should be about 52°F with some sunshine.

Still a little chance of getting some rain late tonight.

Have yourself a Blessed Day Everyone.

Today, here in Vermont we had sunshine, cloudy skies, and temps in the 40's.

Today was the calm before the storm, because the weather will be changing quickly. We will be seeing clouds moving in later this evening ahead of a quick moving round of snow showers. The showers will be moving into the area around 10PM EST, with some heavier snow showers around midnight. Minor accumulations in the higher elevations of anything from a trace up to 2" are possible.

Then by Friday morning the skies will be dry, and they'll clear up with a good amount of sunshine and highs in the mid 40's. But the sun won't last long, clouds will be moving in for the afternoon and evening, ahead of a system that will be bringing wet and wintry weather for the weekend.

Snow and ice will be moving in late Friday night and continuing overnight into Saturday morning. On Saturday, we will have HEAVY snow and ICE, bringing potentially hazardous road conditions. The more Northern areas will be seeing the heaviest of the snow, the Northeast Kingdom (near the Canadian Border) could see up to 8" inches of snow, while most other Northern areas will likely see 3"- 5" inches. The Adirondacks, Lower Champlain Valley, Central Vermont, and Upper Valley are likely going to see the most ice accumulations, with up to a quarter of an inch possible.

They have also issued Winter Weather Advisories in effect from 8PM EST Friday until 2PM EST Saturday for the North Country and all of Vermont except the 2 Southern Counties. They have also issued Winter Storm Watches in effect from Friday evening through Saturday night for Northern New Hampshire.

The snow and ice will taper off a bit Saturday evening, but the road conditions will remain slippery throughout the night. Rain and mix will continue in Southern Vermont and slowly move North again overnight.

For Sunday morning, more mix will be moving through, and we could see a bit more snow. For the evening, the precipitation will be transitioning over to rain, and continuing overnight into Monday.

Monday afternoon could see some breaks in the rain or lighter showers. Highs will be reaching into the mid to upper 50's. But the last round of rain will move through overnight Monday into Tuesday, and the temps will be dropping after the rain passes. For Tuesday, the temps drop back into the 40's, but we should see some sunshine.

Well, it’s currently 11:34pm local in deep South Texas, and we have had 14+ inches of rain since 1:30am. Still raining now, and expecting several more inches overnight. We were a little dry, but I didn’t need the whole state of Texas’ rain in one shot! Just praying that the water stays out of my house. My Spyder is sitting in about 2-1/2” of water in its shed right now…

^^^^ Update - it is now 4:20am, and I dumped an additional 4.7” from my gauge just now. Total of 18-1/2+” in 27 hours. Lost electricity at 1:32am. Will start portable generator about 6am, then try to go see what kind of damage we have at our farm and headquarters, and see if any of my neighbors need help. Water came very close, but did not enter house. Just checked and the Spyder is fine - just got it’s feet wet for awhile. I just swept most of the water out of the shed.

Problem is - it’s still raining now…

Everyone be careful about driving through 'running water' on your road. As little as 3" can push your car off the road. This is a very real problem.

Currently cloudy sky and a rain shower at 50°F. Going to be a mostly rainy day here.
Indoor projects are on the schedule for today.

Today's high at 78°F with some showers.
Low of 61°F. Chances of rain showers.
Remember to listen to the weather for your area. Be Safe and enjoy your day.

Till Next Time. (y)

Good morning from the desert. Sorry to hear about all that rain in Texas! Glad you are doing okay so far. I'm sure your neighbors really appreciate you checking in on them. Currently it's 76 degrees, partly cloudy, humidity at 19%, and an 8 MPH breeze. High today will be 81. There is no rain in the forecast. I checked the radar map and it shows some moisture in the far northern part of Arizona. It's probably Virga. That's rain falling from the clouds but evaporates before getting to the ground. That happens a lot here in the desert. Stay safe..... Jim

Well, the last weekend of March is here. Going to be a little cooler and some what wetter here in Indiana. Something to do with the April Showers and Flowers.
Currently we have cloudy sky at 66°F.

High today of 71°F with some rain showers.
Low at 59°F and more showers.
Hopefully we will get what we need without the surplus.

Sunday morning is scheduled for some rain 🌧.
High of 71°F.
Low 41°F. Not very friendly.

Enjoy your Ryde Times and Stay Healthy. (y)

Be careful what you wish for about rain.
I received just the right amount on the rain showers.
Maybe get some extra by tomorrow morning.
Stay tuned for more details.

Last Day of March 2025. YES, soon will be April. I am so glad for Spring Break and the warmer weather. Currently we have cloudy sky at 41°F.

High today of 44°F with clouds ⛅️.
Low at 29°F and clouds.
No rain Today, maybe tomorrow.

Saturday and Sunday we received over 1 1/2" of rain. Some flooding issues are possible. I am okay for now.

Stay Safe and be Healthy.
Till Next Time. (y)

March is ending with another beautiful day here in the desert. Currently it's 76 degrees and headed for a high of 81 today. Breeze of 5 MPH with gusts to 9. Humidity is 30% and the barometer is dropping. A cooling trend will happen in the next couple of days. The highs later this week are only forecast to be in the 60s. Not quite time to switch the monster in my utility room from heating over to cooling. But that time will come soon enough. Stay safe..... Jim
