• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Took my Spyder for a ride before the thunderstorms arrived.

Ran into a construction zone on one of the roads where they only had one lane open, and had flaggers controlling the flow of traffic.
I had to stop and wait, and while I was sitting there the flagger told me I had a nice bike. I thanked him.

Then I decided to stop and pick up some lunch, and while I was gearing up after stowing my lunch in the top case, another customer came out of the restaurant and told me she really liked my motorcycle. I also thanked her.

Then going back through the construction zone, the same flagger got a big smile on his face when he saw me, and took one hand off of the stop/slow pole to wave at me. I nodded back as I rode past him.

I drove 81 miles and was gone for an hour and 45 minutes.

Nothing earth shattering. I write to express gratitude for this forum. I finally got the bike back together. It's running fine.
But. (You knew that was coming, right?)
Yesterday the check engine light came on. Never seen it before. Bike was running well.
Went home, a few miles' travel. No codes. Read the manual. No help.
Came to the forum and did a search and found a number of threads on the ambiguous meaning of the check engine light.
One meaning was repeated: Battery.
I plugged in the smart battery maintainer. Turned the ignition. No check engine light. Unplugged the charger. Check engine line ON.
Thanks to all who contribute ideas and wisdom and knowledge to this board.
