• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Put on a Quad Lock for an iPhone using a 1" Ball Head + Double Socket Arm + 1” Ball Adaptor Mount + Motorcycle Vibration Dampener.

It's bolted on the lower left of the OEM Garmin mount, so I've got the option of using either for navigation.

Have used Garmin's and a SPOT tracker for many years but my preferred nav app might become Detecht.

Installed a LaMonster rear rack.
Battled with the installation of a Cat Delete w/baffle.
The three springs are a bugger. :banghead::banghead: but yielded to my unrelenting determination to complete the job.

Hey Lew and Crew, Once again I'm ready to Roll...

I installed the new Pedal Box Pro from lamonstergarage but it got too late for me to try it out. Hopefully Friday since tomorrow is supposed to rain. I'm curious to see how much of a difference it makes.

I installed mine 2 weeks ago. When you put it in Sport +, hang on, it will throw you back!

Installed a Keyless Gas Cap.
Fabricated a cane holder for the rear rack.
Mounted a new License plate frame.

Spring refresh. In the last week, I've tightened the front shock springs a bit, replaced the rear tire with another Vredestein Quatrac, and while I had it apart installed new brake pads, serviced the front sprocket. Also did an oil change.

Spyder Volt Meter.jpg

Joined the Voltage Gauge Brotherhood today! Not sure how I got the picture 90 degrees out. The gauge is level!

It's like that most likely because you took the pic on your phone or camera with it in Portrait Mode, so the image has its Upper Right Corner designated as the Anchor Point in its EXIF data. only the Forum uses the default Upper LEFT Corner as its default Anchor Point, so when you loaded your image onto the Forum, it flipped it 90° CCW to put the designated Anchor Point where the Forum expects & requires all Anchor Points to be!

We can't change the Forum default without a lot of effort & significant expense, but you could edit your image to change the Anchor Point; or an even easier solution is to simply flip your camera or Phone 90° CCW to put it into Landscape Mode whenever you're taking pics to upload here, (ie, drop the top of the phone/camera LEFT ;) ) then once uploaded, all your images will always appear the right way up!

Cheers:cheers:

Got the Megatech License last night and disabled the DESS today. wow that was super easy. Installed the USB charger with voltmeter. Tomorrow I will continue installing the remaining LEDs and tank protector. Oh did I mention I ordered the NOCO jumper today???

Dropped my Spyder at the dealer for 5 warranty issues and squeaky front brakes. I hope that they can complete all the work before the end of the summer. :)

Installed Lamonster's Bright Ryder LED light under the frunk lid. Found a way to route the wiring that didn't involve drilling... I'm stubborn that way. Can't "test ride" as it looks like the Carson Valley is about to get its promised thunderstorms and lightning makes me tend to :yikes: ! We had a ryde up Mt. Rose and down along the west side of Lake Tahoe this morning, anyway. Good ride with 8 bikes and 3 Spyders, not much traffic yet and didn't get wet, I call it a win.
