• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Oil change with the XPS kit and changed out the drain plugs for the "regular" ones from Lamonster. Good thing too, the allen head plug was almost rounded out.

Continuing the installation of:
Green LED turn signals on Dash
Cubby LED Signal and Running Lights
Signature Light / Turn Signal
LED Headlights
One more day of parts installation and I will be done and ready to ryde...:spyder:

Would like to see a photo of the LED turn signal indicators you installed. Pretty please?

Also type and where purchased?

My ST's indicator lights are barely visible if there's any sun out. Overcast sky isn't much better. Thought about doing what you've done here. Like to see it.

Multiple thanks.

Not really Spyder related but more personally... I got my motorcycle license. No more permit for me. Along with chauffers' and CDL, I guess I can go for the pilot license now.

Got my Zumo XT2 hooked up, installed Lamonster mirror locks, and wired in the Lamonster Bright Ryder front under-frunk light. Also moved around my phone mount (top cuff + ram ball + Quadlock). Sure wish they made a RAM ball-to-ball arm that you could lock the balls at 90 degree angles from each other.

Finally broke the Spyder out of hibernation. With temps in the lower 50*s, it took awhile for the Ride-On to start distributing :)

If one picture is worth... then what are eight worth?

I'll just let the pictures tell the story. If they don't appear in order or disoriented, well, can't change the site's idiosyncrasies.

I'm posting this in hopes it will help others as the one video I could find had some spots that were so dark you could not tell what was happening and some of the dialog was incomplete.

It would appear like you were installing Magic Mirrors, but... that’s only a guess on my part. An explanation of what we’re seeing would help a lot.

My Bar Clamp with 1" ball I bought from lamonstergarage should be in today so I can move my phone from the top cuff to between the bars.

AT the dealership for a new belt (due to bad cogs, and not being safe to drive) the belt will be in next week at the dealership. So I am Spyderless until next Friday.

Deanna

I don't know which "cogs" were damaged, and I don't know how they got damaged. But I did have a stone in the belt guard.

Deanna

:hun: Well it's your money (about $500.00 or more)... I have seen pics of some belts with very noticeable damage that were not re-placed and continued to be used for many, many more miles. Has your "significant other" looked into this??? ...Good luck ...Mike 👍

Installed them on mine earlier in the week. The best!

Installed: Ultimate Floorboards,
Throttle lock bar end weights,
Drilled my top cuffs for future install of mirrors.

did my 1st oil change, don't think the oil has been change, bike had 537 miles on it when i bought it, it now has 1822 miles now, i got it in dec 22 and its a 2020. the oil smelled really funky, couple of slivers on magnet and what looked like a little dirt on the oil filter cover stick on the bottom. New Amsoil and it sounds so much better
