• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thank You All.

Nice to see you keep it inside out of the weather! Newer model than I've seen before. Are you sure it's a "him"?
Be careful, some bite!

Not sure if it is a him or not. Probably is a her since the females are usually larger with more rounded abdomen. It is a wolf spider. Came in from outside where they live in holes in the ground, The weather here does not get cold enough to hurt the wolf spiders, but it will sometimes kill the big banana spiders that stay on the webs overnight. The wolf spider does have some venom, but they are not aggressive toward people. The venom is no worse than a wasp sting. It will paralyze the crickets or other insects they eat, but not much effect on a 200 pound human. I don't bother them if they don't bother me.

Another angle on the picture:

received my daytona frunk stripes yesterday, hopefully install today and post pics, fast service from WrapMySpyder, and the extra graphics i received were a nice and unexpected bonus.. matte black for my liquid titanium frunk, should look great

Fixed my wobbly mirrors. Pulled them apart. Greased the ball joints and as I didn't have a "Wedgie" block I filled that space with some snow foam from an old sleeping mat.

Ordered Pedal commander, elka front & rear shocks as well as cat delete pipe and lps exhaust from Lamonster. Spyder already has sway bar and new tires, Pretty surious how it will respond after completion. Chris

Finally had Vredestein tires mounted on the front. The old Federals had over 50K on them but we’re getting a little worn out, even tho there was still a lot of tread remaining.

Installed my Vredestein Quatracs on the Front completing the set and went back and did some alignment on the belt from changing the rear out last week. Got her 4 mm off of the rear flange and adjusted belt tension. Time to wash and wax tomorrow to get the pollen and dirt off from doing all of the work and road testing.

In preparation for a couple of extended trips coming up I installed the top case rack. Big Bike Parts 41-355BK Tour Trunk Rack (CAN AM F3, Yamaha Star Venture)

Also installed the LED turn signal bulbs (rear) OXILAM 7507 PY21W BAU15S LED Bulbs Amber Yellow 2800LM for Turn Signal Lights with Built-in Load Resistor CANBUS Error Free 2641A 12496 7507AST Bulb Replacement (2PCS). These replaced a previously installed LED light that cause hyper-flash.

Both items purchased through Amazon Prime.

I bought 2 front tires for my F3T.
165/60R-15 Vredestein Quatrac SL.
Hope to install the tires in a few days.

Installed my 2022 F3 Helibars. Can't wait for the weather to get nice enough to try them..

Finally got around to mounting the base for my Zumo 396 GPS. A much easier task on the '21 RT than it was on the '16 RT

Finally got around to putting my Daytona frunk wrap on. 65 degrees today, but are roads are dirty and crappy. I'm getting the itch to get her out, oh well.

Got my Ultimate Position 5 floorboards installed today. Pierre made the install look easier than it was for me. I learned after the first side to take a utility knife and clean the Line-X from around the frame tube hole. The frame bolt pivots around much easier :)

Trouble balancing Vredsteins. Anyone else had this problem? My bike shop in VA did a static balance before I left for FL. Got down here for a first ride and had bad shaking above 45. Went out and got a cheap harbor freight bubble balancer and got to almost 75% better. Went to a local tire shop hoping they could fine tune my work and he stated the tires were totally out of round and the weights needed were off the charts. Sent me to a local repair shop. They spent about an hour on them and declared them “balanced”. Rode today and nearly lost my mirrors and fenders as the vibrations were severe. Finally found a CanAm repair shop about an hour away and they stated that the repair shop has put excessive weights in three positions on each wheel. They removed that mess and redid them. Gonna try them out tomorrow and hope that they are finally done right. Geez…
