• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riding weather in the NE is disappearing!

We have been fortunate with our extended riding season... had rides on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. But I think it is time to finally put the RT away before they roll out to treat the roads on Tuesday. :-(

...plowable snow.... and ice for us.

I do feel bad for my family and friends that live there. They are correct, it is a place of having four seasons to enjoy. I use enjoy cautiously since it was never always a joy when it snowed in all the years I lived there.

All the best with it and be safe.

You have had it good this year!

Wife and I are visiting family in Philly and Boston this Chrismas and was in Boston Friday and Plymouth yesterday and there were a lot of motorcycles out and about. I did see one Spyder out on Christmas in Philly.
Just seems wrong to be walking around on Christmas Day in a T shirt :sour: in Philly and Boston

 We're seeing the same thing here... :gaah:

But I'm NOT giving up, until I actually see and hear a sand truck on the highway...

But then....

You all had a good run..:clap:nothing lasts forever. ..:banghead: hope it will be mild and short...

Yep were in for the same.

Think it may be the end of the season. If it's like last year once it started didn't stop.

Did get a short ride on christmas day

Winter supposedly arrives in WI tomorrow. Extended forecasts have lots of cold weather and mixed precip. You had a nice extension, back to reality for many of us.:sour:

:D I snuck one last ride in this morning. The ugly weather is supposed to land on us in about twelve hours...

We are in the same boat here in Vermont.

The state of Vermont will have a "winter weather advisory " out from 12:00 midnight tonight until 7:00 pm Tuesday night, with the heaviest snow falling between 4:00 am to 10:00 am( I start work @ 5:00 am on Tuesday) with possible power outages, and possible ice accumulation.......:gaah:

So I am going to do my errands today, and get snow shovels, and salt ready. Deanna

Batten down the hatches and hold on! Be safe and sorry to hear about your weather, I'm sitting here watching the salt trucks drive by in preparation for our snow today.
:gaah:

Rainy and cold

Pittsburgh, PA. 60 degrees last weekend. 35 degrees today.
Rainy but no snow yet.
Riding will end with the first sighting of a salt truck.
Be well and ride safe.
Cheers,
