• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DynoJet PowerVision Help

talk to mark at dyno jet he is awesome, will stay on phone with you and walk you through everything until bike is running with the new software

Dynojet PV3-F3

do you have a 'jdt" file ? and a "stk" file from dynojet ?
you need to copy that from your computer into the PV directly
dont try and use dynojet software
just plug in your PV to the computer and cut paste file directly into PV
then just plug PV into bike and PV should then see files and you can update map .

I can do that … PC reads files....only PV3 when hooked up...DOES NOT "SEE" those files
DJ sent me. after I sent in ECU .... a stock file...and a Enhanced Stock file.. PV3 can "See" those two files....
My PV3 will not "pair" w/trike...so will not work with their software....
I have to depend on them to create more performance files for me.... Bummer
All I would really like … is for my F3 to run as well\or better than my 2013 SKS 1000cc SE5 …
at least have the HP the F3s has … think mine is down about 20 hp from F3s

So, Are any map files available that will improve my 2019 F3-S ? Anyone running the PV3 in a 2018/2019 F3-S who can comment? Thanks

Yes I have a 2018 F3s with the pv3 and it is running fine had a little problem at first. Mark with Dynojet was awesome and helped me out from start to finish. I would suggest everyone talk to mark at dynojet he will get you up and running

Cool, thanks. So a nice improvement over your stock map?

Just heard back from DJ, stating that the 2505601 map is based off a 2018 F3-S. Nice to know. Now just waiting on FuelMoto's Black Friday sale.

yes not bad, but like mark said is there still some meat on the bone yes , they do a safe tune that helps and improves everything over all

DynoJet PV3 for 2019 F3S Issues

I ordered the PV3-25-05 from DynoJet for my 2019 F3S. After following install instructions, dead on arrival, PV3 didn't power up. Called dynojet tech support, sent several photos of dynojet cable #p/n 76950960 rev 01 and both diagnostic ports (can ams and dynojets cable). Dynojet states its the correct cable, but is going to ship out a new replacement cable. If the new cable doesn't work I'm to send the PV3 back for a replacement unit. Let's hope the new cable works!

Did you plug it into your computer using the supplied US/mini USB cable ? It'll power up just fine. Like me, you likely got an older stock unit that doesn't have the supplied adapter cable. It is the shorter cable shown on the right. Your PV3 will work just fine. They got me mine in 4 days.

DynoJet PV3 Issues

Got no "jumper cable", here's what DynoJet sent. They did send a replacement cable (same as the original) and it didn't work.
I've been dealing with Chris (DynoJet Tech Support) will be calling him on Monday.

Troop are you suggesting I need the "jumper cable" shown in your photo? Cables.jpgCable Number.jpg

They are still having issues with the cables. I figure by now that it would have been resolved. Its not the tuner its how the pin configuration is on the tuner harness. 3 cables later finally got mine to work..

I had to go through the same stuff last Fall. Fuel Moto (where I got the unit) had no idea about the cable issues as well as the guys at Dynojet in Vegas. I ended up spending an hour plus on the phone with them sending photos back and forth only to have to burn up 2 weeks to send it in. I finally ended up with cable p/n76950961rev01 and that worked perfectly. I agree with trikermuther above, its not the tuner its the power pin location. I never did get the short jumper cable that Troop got with his. but once I got the right stuff it works great.

T.P.

Spoke to a second tech at DynoJet and he mailed me the adapter cable that "Troop" mentioned in post #88. That fixed the problem, flash has been downloaded, waiting for some nice weather to test out.

Finally !! I just needed to button down and figure this PV3 out. I got my stk file figured out/downloaded and then was able to load up a compatible Dynojet tune file. About 15 minutes later, the tune was written, bike turned off and back on a minute later. The best way to describe the feel is snappier or more brisk. The throttle just feels more instantaneous. I do have an appointment scheduled for Wednesday at Fuel Moto to let Jamie (Long) ride/data record/make some tweaks to the map. But for now, all is good :)

Like to see more maps posted with the PV3

You can always log with the PV3 while you are driving and then send it into Dynojet for more tweeking too.

Yup .. I'll have it connected while I ride to see him. The ride will involve back roads, highways and interstates so their will be plenty of areas to tweak.

Heading out the door in 15 minutes for a 125 mile ride to Fuel Moto. Gonna be a brisk start as the temp is a brisk 37* The main man, Jamie, is going to ride/tweak my DJ tune. I'll report back later this afternoon

Looking forward to hearing the results.
