• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DynoJet PowerVision Help

Went really well. All told, spent about 1.5 hours riding/data logging and 1.5 hours on the computer tweaking the map. The bike feels much crisper regarding throttle response and pulls much harder on top. Jamie said fuel tables were off by as much as 16%, with many areas being too rich and some areas too lean. When all was said/done, he got the fuel tables within 3% of what he thought was ideal. He left ignition points alone and made minimal timing changes. He "thinks" if the bike ran well on 87 octane before the flash that it will run fine after the flash. I'll likely ween it down to mid grade (89 octane) and see how it goes. The end result is very satisfying.

I did about 75 minutes worth in total, of a wide multitude of riding styles. It will log for approx 15 minutes and restart another log. No need to stop/start your data logs. With the bike running, go to your 4 square channel screen and press the round circle button. It will glow green and a logging icon will appear. Stop log with power still going to the PV3.

Fuel table off by 16% seems kind of crazy, is there any particular reason that Dynojet would leave it like that? I may have to do some logging too.

Only can tell you what he told me. He did say that the DJ map was a really nice starting base. May have been a very small spike. I never asked him where, but it seems a lot of maps are rich in the cruise area. I did 20 minutes worth of logging on the freeway at steady 60, 70 and 80 mph speeds.

Over the years, I'm a 5x repeat customer with various bikes, so I think he cut me a nice break. That said, if you buy from them, they'll customize all your future mapping for no charge with supplied data logging. Give them a call.

@Troop

Would you be able to share your original STK file with me? I am looking to get the PV3 for mine and I wanted to see what calibrations/tables are avalible inside the map using the PV3. It seems you cant look around without the STK file.

Thanks
Later

When you buy/connect/power on your PV3, it will get you your stk file. At that point, it will tell you what djk files are available. stk file not obtainable without a PV3.

I agree with TROOP on the above, My STK and my DJT are not the same as TROOP'S. Years and Models have different Stock and DJ tunes.

Hi, so if I may, will the DynoJet or for that sake any of power updates/ flashes change the emission readings to where it won’t pass the inspection emissions testing... I live in the Houston area with the dreaded test!!!

I'm guessing your exhaust, or lack of a catalytic converter, would affect that more. But, yeah, call DJ for that.

Will do!!! still have the cat. but the exhaust is more like a small 8-10 inch cherry bomb with a tip, barely sticks out from under the cycle, I was told the lady’s had a Harley and she liked the popping sound... and it does pop, especially when you down shift coming to a stop, not to loud just a deep throaty pop... I really kinda like it myself
