• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DynoJet PowerVision Help

Yes, they include a jumper cable with the original cable. I had to use the jumper for my 2019. The Powervision also had the correct .stk and .djt files for my bike, I did not have to remove and send in the ecu.

They should have it right finally. All us test dummies sent in the ECM and Contacted them about the cables not working.

Glad it worked out for you!

I've been watching this thread with great interest, as I have had both ECU flash (Yamaha FZ09) and PV tune (H-D) from the same shop, FuelMoto in Appleton, WI. Gonna go the PV3 route on my F3-S as I don't want changes to the ECU itself. Gonna have Jamie at FuelMoto do the tweaking, as nobody does it better. Leaning toward keeping the stock muffler with a cat delete. Hell, just might keep stock exhaust. We shall see....

He does Spyders or is he just using one of the uploaded tunes? I thought he only did Harley for tunes but he did sell the tuners too.

I have a 2017 F3T. The Power Vision3 that I got today has the power pin in position 4 for the OLD Spyder's. But mine takes the power pin in position 6 . So on the phone for an hour with the Vegas office tech guys. Fed X back to them at some point. They had me try to start the unit with a 9 volt and paper clips. That didn't work either.

That's weird, here's the set up that they sent to me last month. The black cable by itself wouldn't work on my 2019 Limited, so I assume it is for the older bikes. When I included the jumper cable in the connection to the Spyder, everything worked without a problem.

His bread/butter these days are H-D's, but the Indian market is growing fast. He actually worked with DynoJet to co-develope the original Power Vision. He also owns a couple sports bikes and has developed multiple ECU flashes. As far as the Spyder, I believe he'll set it up, ride it and do some tweaking. He doesn't have a Spyder capable dyno..

This is a picture of the cable and plug on my 2017 F3T , The circled ports are the locations of the wires on the back end of the plug.
the non circled port is pin location #4 and that has a white plastic plug.IMG_1692.jpg

Well that took 2 weeks to get my Power Vision 3 (PV3-25-05) back from Dyno Jet in Vegas.
the new cable P/N 76950961 REV 01 is for you if your plug is the same as my plug in post #47 above.
with the above plug the cable that came with the unit wont work ever.
If you have an NEWER Spyder with the power pin in location #6 the not circled port, the supplied cable will work.

Hope this HELPs! T.P.

I got the PV months ago wrong cable in box , got correct cable but never got right on it .When I finally did it recognized bike but wouldn't sync up
to bike . Will have to see if new updates in software will get it to mate up .If not well when it starts to snow will send it in .

What do you mean wouldn't Sync up?

It wouldn't allow the PV to tie itself to the bike
ie: once it syncs to bike its licensed to that bike only ,unless you buy more unlock codes.

T.P.

looking at my plug your un circled pin is actually #6
I have in pin 1 white brown pin 2 white black pin 3 black pin 4 orange red pin 5 red yellow pin 6 empty
first cable they sent had pins in 1-2-3 -6
So no connection to bike
New cable has pins in 1-2-3-4
So now it sees bike but still wont Flash to PV
It reads vin but wont make a PV_info file
What is pin 5 used for ?
DJ only uses 4 pins for connection ?

Your right I went back and corrected my numbering. New PV3 cable only has 4 pins no pin in #5 position T.P.

Ok I finally think I got it sorted out
I was able to install tune 2505601.djt onto bike without having to send in unit :)
Had to delete 4 files off of unit thru "this pc" as just deleting thru PV wasn't working.
Also installed em just thru"this pc" as trying to load em from PV software wasn't cutting it.

Well Just took for a quick loop and Yes noticeable difference .
Upped the power to give me an extra gear to play with .
Since I row my own I usually blast around in third on the backroads as 4th leaves it lugging .
Well 4th is now usable where as before it would of needed 3rd to keep it in the revv's .
So happy camper here .
Best is no sending away for a change , easy to reset to stock .
