• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter again

Well, it's not cold (55-60), and the long range weather guessers say more of the same (wet), so the Spyder is stored for the duration. From the looks of it, we won't see a flake of snow this year, but any travel will require pontoons and paddles… Well, that's the price of living where we do.

Silverton's not far, but not in "normal" travel patterns…. Most of the flooding is coastal and in the coast range.

This is shaping up to be the third year without a heavy freeze in the Valley. Last year had a great and long ski season tho...

I had a scheduled IFR check ride today - had to shoot three approaches to Hillsboro…. Bumpy, windy, wet, cold, steamed up windows….. and then we got in the plane...

Salem, OR here..would be nice to maybe ride with you this summer, however, i'm with you....RT is in sleep mode till the sun starts shining again

You bet - keep in touch. We'll be doing a 2500 mile ride this summer (Sept). Here to Boise to Orofino to Sand Point to Salmon River to Sun Valley to Boise - home (to/from on 26, not 84). Let me know if you are interested.
