• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I installed the new used fender to replace the original fender I ripped off putting the Spyder away last fall. Also removed the rear trunk lid and tightened up the luggage rack mounting screws. Not on the Spyder but related to it, I fixed the sleeve plug for the heated gloves on my jacket liner. The old plug on the right side came apart for some reason. On Saturday went for a 200 mile ride with a group of friends that included 2 other Spyders, 2 RT's and an old RS. Great day and still home in time to take my wife to see His Only Son. Good movie.
Now all I need is a good used right fender(old style) in any color. anybody got one they want to get rid of?

Had the front sprocket r/r today on the recall for my new-to-me 2017 RTL.

Spring is slow in coming so it's only the third time I've had it on the road. We're off to a good start, but still need to get the OEM zümo 590 GPS to give directions through my Schuberth / Sena helmet speakers.

Fabricated and installed a Third Peg on my F3T. Removed the Drivers backrest for modification.
Installed a wide brake pedal. Built a brake pedal foot guard.
Moved the foot pegs from position 5 to position 3. Will test ride in the morning.

Installed front suspension Tie down rings, LaMonster Leather like grips,
Torqued the lug nuts, Installed handlebar risers and drilled my keys for key rings.

I finally found a method to mount the expanding pole for the Insta360 camera.

Cobbled together from spare RAM mounts that have been accumulating over my 15 years of riding.

Made some jack ramps so I can put on a new sway bar this week. It'll go up about 3 more inches to the next hole...about 21" total without shimming it higher.

Installed a Baja Ron ultra sway bar after work - could tell there is a nice improvement just from a short test ride just now. Can't wait to get some M2 shocks on here...just waiting on them to be built. I also have 3 new tires waiting to be put on but not sure if I want to use up some of this Kendra rubber first (only 400 miles on them so far lol).

Wired and installed AdMore Lighting's LED kit for the Givi V35 side cases. Not difficult, but a little nerve wracking removing the plastic lenses. No breakage. Ha!

Fitting the lenses was more of a challenge. One went in perfectly and easily. The other required many attempts before finally getting everything snug.

I also sort of installed the plastic under seat cover. Five bolts and two nuts. None of the bolts align. I managed to get the two nuts in place, which allowed me to install the Givi luggage racks. One bolt went in so it will handle a ride to the dealer. I've spent too much on aspirin and throat lozenges (sore throat from so much cussing!) so I'm letting the dealer rob me to get that darn under seat cover properly tied down.

Also Spyder related: started researching adding a pair of driving lights that project where the wheels are pointed. Had that on my last motorcycle and liked how it helped in a campground or locating exits and such in poorly lighted parking lots etc.

put the new floating discs with the full sintered pads, PPA-rims and the progressive springs on. The last details for a better rYde, just waiting now for the release of the progressive spring for the rear FOX-podium shock. Then everything possible will be done

Finished my Baja Ron ultra sway bar install. Cleaned top to bottom. Replaced the batteries in the FOBO's. Now waiting for some warmer weather to ride. It's been a long winter.

Changed oil in my, Rotella T6 5/40 w/one quart 15/40 since I had it as a left over on the shelf. Oil change not getting any easier for this senior rider. A one year program it seems, I was not happy I had ridden so few miles, and neither was my 20 RTL I suspect.
