• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Today I installed the passenger armrests on my F3L for the wife. First you have to remove the heated passenger grab rails. Easy. Then install the new armrest. Equally easy. Only drawback is they set further forward than I like, but that's I because I moved the top case back to give her more room back there. But she sat on it and gave me the seal of approval. Tomorrow morning we will take a ride and make sure she is still happy with them. A week ago we were in Colorado and she said she spent so much time hanging on that she couldn't take her usual number of pictures.

Well we took a quick ride (45 minutes) on a nice backroad (which is mostly sweeping turns, a couple fairly tight ones) close to home. Momma gave her thumbs up on the armrests. The only issue, she had to change the way she gets on and off, but not a biggie.

Spent the afternoon cobbling up a cover for the
dash and seat of the F3T. Custom mirrors are
slowing the project.

Installed a Motohorn and picked up a OEM Auxiliary light switch from the dealer to replace the one that is stuck in the on position.- $112.00 for a switch... OUCH! :gaah:

Didn't do nothing to the Spyder today. Trying to decide if I need to build an ark and collect some animals, two by two.

I installed the MadStad 18" Adjustable Windshield today. Looks good and I'm sure I'll use it on longer trips; however, I think that I'm going to reinstall my sports shield for the day-to-day riding.

Yup .. 14" dark gray for day/day and 22" light tint for trips. Very convenient.

Went on my 1st long ride since having the cat delete pipe and the Baja Ron new 3pc sway bar installed on Friday. OMG!!! It sounded better and it definitely handled better. I'm the only trike in my group of friends that I ride with and today I felt really comfortable in the curves once we really started to get on it.

If any is debating doing the sway bar upgrade, don't wait do it, it's totally worth it.

I did the 9300 mile service. Used Rotella T6 oil and Lamonster filter kit. All inspections return positive results. Ready to go to Sturgis if my sprocket gets here in time.

I totally agree. I did the BajaRon swaybar a couple of months ago. Also did the cat delete from LaMonster. Anyone who is pondering whether to do it or not.....don’t even think about it....JUST DO IT!

I agree that the sway bar is the way to go. Did mine as well a month ago and it really makes a difference in corner handling. I bought the RLS Crusher but it just wasn't for me. A bit loud. I can't find any sites on what the cat delete sounds like. After putting the crusher on, I'm hesitant to splurge yet again on something I might not like.

Did a big install today.....installed my just purchased SpyderCuff. A big thank you to the crew at Lamonster Garage for the quick delivery to Canada. Very much appreciated.

Installed Spyderpops missing belt guard (regularly on gravel roads) and the TricLed brake light flasher, investigating wires for the ST2 Brake Module (as I downshift much more than brake). Then LED's up front and some minimal WrapMySpyder accents.

Didn't actually do anything to it today, but I did order a new Ultimate seat w/rider backrest and top case pad. Already shipped Fedex and should be here middle of next week. That will give us a week to break it in before we leave for Sturgis. For what they cost I sure hope we like it.

Installed the BajaRon Sway bar with Lamonster Links, WOW what a difference. Like others on here said, It's definitely worth it. Now the next project will be new performance Shocks on my 2013 Spyder ST-SE5;)
