• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed emergency release cables for the Frunk and Pillion Seat.
Created and installed a drink holder on the F3 bar that is on the left side under the tank.
Fabricated tethers for the side access panels.

I had tri-axis handlebars installed on my 2013 RTL. Liking them so far.
I have a complete wrap on my bike, and today I did a ceramic wax and boy does it shine!
I also polished the wheels with Never Dull, and used Rain-X for plastics on the windshield.
Now I gotta go get it dirty!

Recieved the 36mm 12 pt. box wrench. Next - adjusting belt tension.
Belt tension adjusted along with peacekeeper6. Belts on both bike running true and smooth.
Big thanks to Dave ( Haze) for his guidance and the use of the kirkit2.

Got my new rear tire (225/60R-15 General Altimax RT43 SL) installed today at my CanAm dealer. Total bill was $138 including disposal fee etc. and took about an hour. My speedometer now shows exactly what my GPS shows for speed. I have a Fobo 2 (trike) coming from Lamonster. As soon as it gets here I will get the fronts installed (will have my local tire dealer change tires on rims, I will carry in. I am waiting on the Fobo as I want to use the longer valve stems included in the kit. No riding this weekend anyway, as Grandson is coming up to spend the weekend with us. Headed to Colorado for a week of riding in 2 weeks.

Excellent question. Spent two hours riding to reach the Lowe's about 2.5 miles from the house. Great day! Would like to do it again, soon.

Rode back home from a long weekend of twisties off the Mississippi in SE MN and La Cross WI area. Oh put these on too.USAFRetx2.jpg

Nice bike and love the USAF stickers.
I'm a former Air Force medic. Born and raised in MN.
Cheers, David C.

Installed the Vredesteins on the front, so now new shoes all the way around. Local shop charged me $30 to mount, balance, and new longer valve stems. Once I got the tires on I added the Fobo 2. I screwed up the first time and didn't select a 'reverse trike' so it showed 1 front and 2 back tires. I had to release the sensors, delete the Spyder, and start all over. It went much faster the second time. Doh!!

Hopefully it won't be too windy tomorrow so I can take Momma for a ride and see how it handles. Lately we have been having 30 and 40 mph winds, so no fun riding.

Re-aligned the drive belt after a work day of aligning drive belts. It was actually pretty easy. Also aligned a friend's belt on a '20 RT and it was difficult to get the belt right but finally did.
Did the '20 RT's come with a belt vibration dampener from the factory? Friend says it has one, but I couldn't find it???

No they did not.

Installed some Kuryakyn black Heavy Industry mirrors on my F3S. Pricey, but certainly heavy duty.

Nice morning so we got our ride in to check out the new tires and the Fobo install. Seems I got too much air in the back. Given the higher temp due to the muffler the rear pressure really shot up. Need to drop at least 3 psi out. Will wait till the Spyder cools down and then adjust and go for another test ride.

Ok. let the Spyder cool down and adjusted the air pressure in the rear tire. Not able to go for a ride this afternoon so will check it out in the morning, but here is the cold readings.
