• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Nice install K80. Was thinking about installing one on Belle, but holding off for a while in hopes that one of our vendors will come up with a "Night Rider" light to install in that location. Having those sequential LED's would look awesome there and hooking up to the GPS circuit shouldn't cause a hyperflash on our Spyders.

If they do come out with a "Night Rider" light to go there I would just have to get it also. No hyperflash at all.

Trailer and Hitch
I bought a J&E Tear drop Trailer (2009) last week. Had about 100 miles on it and pulls incredible. I’ll have to replace tires which are also 2009 but look new. Obviously, not for the road. Been working on cleaning it up. Wire brushed as much surface rust, which is all there is, off the metal underneath and painted with spray on undercoating. Then removed wheels, cleanedup and painted hubcaps, am replacing hub covers and lug bolts which had rust on them. Cover had holes in them so needed replacing and lug nuts were less expensive than the pain to paint them. Would have had to buy a whole can for them. Cleaned the hubs off and sprayed with undercoat. Cleaned pull tongue and hitch and painted. Painted hitch with aluminum paint like wheels and painted tongue with a plastic coating. Looks real nice.

I also installed the Big Bike Parts hitch on the Spyder. Now we are ready for our spring trip across the country.

My rendition of a fenderless, side mount F3S. Underneath lights and TricLED brake light. I know about rain issues. That said, when I go on my trips, I have my Lamonster Packrack/top case installed. Only (4) bolts to attach the rear fender.

Washed both Spyders and will go for a short 226 mile ride in the morning. I did replace the front drive pully on the F3 last week.

I didn't do anything to my spyder, it is still hibernation :gaah:

I fear it’s going to be that way for a WHILE. Old man or women winter has really set in this year. Not a lot of snow but cold temps. Even though the roads are clear at times nothing will clean that brine off till April now. They have really laid it thick this year.

Oh Boy,
Been in touch with TricLEd and they are getting ready to announce a "Knight Rider" chaser LED for the front end of our RT's. Will not cause hyperflash. I've been waiting for this for a long time. Time to break into my piggy bank again.

Yes OLD man or woman winter has arrived here. This past weekend the temps were dangerously cold( windchill temps). ( off topic I am looking forward to spring, getting back on the bike).

Road my SPider 30 miles to deliver coffee for my church. I sell Just Coffee to support its mission in the Presbyterian Church USA. I delivers $130 worth to 6 different drinkers. Also, tried out wiring as is on new used trailer (see above - post #544). Turn signals work but brakes and running lights no. Wiring that came with trialer is both too short and a four plug unlike the one I got for the SPyder which is five. I’ll have to do some tinkering tomorrow afternoon or Thursday.

Just putting on new brakes and Kenda K9 tires all around, getting ready for lots of riding soon! Replaced the flags too.

Installed Bumper 2.0. Bumper 1.0 was made of aluminum channel and closer to the bodywork. I feared that, in an impact, it would collapse. Bumper 2.0 is made of steel square stock and farther from the body. Mo bettah! Bottom photo is Bumper 1.0.

Yo RICZ! Sick F3, and even sicker Indian!! What year is that bad boy?? Might I ask how you acquired it or how much it set you back?

Thanks for the complements. As described in my signature, the avatar bike is my first, a Simplex Servi-Cycle that I bought used in 1952. I don't recall what I paid. There's a bit of a following for those bikes now.

Weather in the 50’s and time for first service/inspection on my 2020 F3. Headed to Albuquerque on Tuesday, about a 250 mile round trip for service. Could just do the oil change myself, but want the first service and inspection (buds) done.
