• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Completed the installation of my LEDS foglights.
Wired the switch and built the connector from DIY parts.
Reevaluated the mount and location of my GPS.

Removed the rear wheel and took it to Nash Power Sports in Mesa. They mounted and balanced my supplied General tire, keep the Kenda and charged me only 27 bucks and change out the door. They have been good to me, software update without a charge. :2thumbs:

On edit Friday: I got the belt aligned today and went of a test ride, after helping my friend George install a Bajaron sway bar. The same guy in the park stopped by for a couple minutes to drive this 2014 RT up his ramps to pull the old one out and slide in the new one. Picture is mine on the ramps.

Speedo error only corrected one MPH with the 215/60R15 General, still off by 2 MPH at 65.

My dealer finally got the flat insert that corrects the rear panel fit for my 2020 RTL with the OEM passenger arm rests, yeah, looks better. Took almost a year, but no cost to me. Guess it was an easy job, took about 15 mins.

1. Added the the Big Bike Parts key holders, which shouldn't be required if BRP would have just put a hole in the key.
2. Change the brake rod out to the Lamonster #3. Brake pedal is now where it needs to be.
3.. Not on the Spyder but for the Spyder. Got my Sena 50S and fitted it to my helmet. Getting ready for our guy trip, as almost all of them use the 50S with the mesh. Have a good condition 10R if someone wants to make a decent offer for it, since my 50S will talk to the wife's 10R, when she is with me.

Installed my DIY front Signature Light.
Thanks to Chet at RattleBars for the design and parts list.

Installed the front grill covers from CanAm Spyder Accessories today. Also wired a wireless phone charger/holder I bought from Amazon and mounted it using a ram mount from Lamonster.

I installed the BRP passenger armrests on the Spyder this morning. DW and I went for a Ryde this afternoon
and she really likes how they feel. I like how they look on the Spyder.

I installed the ultimate floor boards today, on my 21 F3L. Comfort level high, brake pedal much easier to reach. The farkles never end

Took a ride down to Phoenix today to get the ECM updated to the latest release. My 2018 F3L had never been updated so was quite aways behind. Was supposed to take about 30 minutes to update, but was almost an hour, as they had issues with their laptop. Not sure what all was in the update, but the one feature I knew was in there (and one I wanted) was the 'distance to empty' display. Round trip was about 260 miles with half being at around 70mph and the the other half was 80-85. Was a little windy going down. I averaged 32+ mpg on the trip there. Coming home we had 40-50mph winds. Not a lot of fun riding in that much wind. Thought for a minute I needed seatbelts to keep from getting blown of the Spyder. I did not fill up when I got home, as I was tired of fighting the wind and just wanted to relax, so not sure what my mileage was for the half of the trip.

wind like that is scary. The Spyder feels planted enough but the wind feels like it is literally going to lift you off the bike.

I had federal fomoza z01 tires mounted on my spyder rims. Brought them home an put them on my rtl an took it for a short drive. Got back home an wiped down spyder an waxed it.
