• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I got the brp top case and installed it on my base RT. The added security and comfort for my wife will hopefully get her to ride more with me.

What I did to my Spyder today

I installed Lamonster Garage LED headlights and fog lights on my Spyder today. MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE THEY MAKE! The headlights weren't too bad to install but that left fog light is a B##CH to get in and install the cover back. It took me awhile just to get the cover back on.But I was able to get it back on without removing the frunk.
I will try to attach a picture of the Spyder at night. I would recommend the LED lights to anyone who rides at night or just wants to be better seen the daylight.

Looked at it at least 20 times as I walked by it in the garage. Trying to finish the RV stuff before I do anymore to the Spyder.

Installed the drink holder on Linda's F3L.

Took a long look at how dirty both of the F3's are getting from the early spring rides. She's going to have to give them a wash once we get a week of sunny and warm weather. :roflblack:

This week I installed 2 things on my Spyder RTL.
Added the, High mount run, turn, brake light, from SpyderPops.
and while I had the back of my Spyder taken apart I added,
RT trailer harness from Canamspyderaccessories.
Then yesterday me an the wife took our Spyders for a ride to Prosser an ate bbq. When we got home I wiped my Spyder down an then waxed it. Wife just put her's away.

Installed 2020+ RT upper & lower BRP adjustable deflectors. Ordered from dealer 2/17, 9 day wait.

Put some $2.40/each amber scope covers on my 2" aux lights. Snap shut for amber/flip open for clear.

Read and re-read, the new to me, F3-T manual.
Got a text saying the Spyder is on a truck on its way to be delivered to me next week.
Yippee...

Picked up and installed driver backrest, my dealer happened to have one in stock. Took me about 20 minutes to install it in their parking lot (part of that time was downloading the instructions, then googling how to remove the rear seat). Would have gone a little faster with the proper tool, but the 10mm crescent wrench from the bike's tool roll worked for the job.
Then took it on a nice short (~40 mile) test ride to make sure it's comfortable.

Installed fog lights bought from fellow member here, installed USB port bought from Amazon (love that it's orange to match frame on my 2020 F3-S Special, fog light switch light is orange also :D ) Now waiting for handlebar riser bought from another fellow member here, and finally awaiting clear weather to test my AirHawk. Installed cannonball seat I received for Christmas which is softer/plusher than original. Problem with it is my heavy @$$ bottoms it out I believe lol

Replaced the gas strut that holds the seat up on my 2016 RTL. Original strut couldn't hold seat up with driver backrest on it. Small thing, but now I don't have to prop the seat up with a stick while refueling.

Raised cane with EBay as they (UPS) damaged a shipping box and lost some assembly hardware for a Tail Rack I bought from a fellow ryder.

Finally got a ride in today after 6 weeks of not being able to because of unusually odd and unpredictable winter weather our way - my longest "dry spell". Did over 200 miles as the sky was clear and the temps were in the 60's all day. :f_spider:
