• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. What did you do to your Spyder today?

Did you change/check your oil level before hibernation? 32oz of oil just doesn't disappear ?
HI Troop,

No, I did not change/or check the oil level before hibernation. (Life got in the way, plus, after the Spyder went into hibernation, I was dealing with the snowmobile). There were no leaks underneath the Spyder.

Did a big service for the upcoming season, Oil/Filter, Flushed/Replace the Brake Fluid, Flushed/Replaced the Engine Coolant, Load tested the battery, failed load test, Replaced with Yuasa battery, over all inspection. (New tires end of last year), good to go for the season. Retired 6 months ago, so plan on lots of riding this season.

Deanna, make sure you check it after the first ride when it is good and hot, you may find it to be overfull...

Replaced a dead Haijiu battery in my 2022 F3S. It made it through two riding seasons and two winters on the tender/maintainer.

I suspect the Yuasa will have a bit longer lifespan. :)

HI EdMat,

My first ride will be this Friday 4/25/2025. It is going to the dealership for State Inspection, and I have them change the oil (because Life got it the way from May 23, 2023 to June, 23, 2024) I am going to start with a clean slate on 4/25/2025.

I'm hoping! I went from a Road Glide to the RT, and it feels really ... squishy?... comparatively.

We got fiber here last year too, it's awesome!
I had that problem myself, turns out the tires were a bit deflated for towing purposes. Once I aired them up correctly it felt much better. But that sway bar made the biggest difference. BRP should put a beefier sway bar on these Spyders at the factory. :)

Tires were super over-inflated from the dealer, getting them down to 18 from 28 made a difference also, but it was still a bit wonky. I have the sway bar on, and am hoping like all heck to get out this afternoon. We picked up the 2024 RTL that we got for my father in law this past weekend, and he's itching to ride too!

I'm new to the forum and I'm loving the Spyder life. I've added several mods to my 23 RT and the town latest were yesterday afternoon. I installed the Cat delete pipe and the LED American flag booth from Lamonster. It took a little bit to figure out the springs, but I finally got it when I added a bigger handle to the tool. (vice grips) The LED flag was super simple and very bright. The next thing on my list is the Lamonster sway bar. I was going to post pics but it keeps saying my files are too large.

I went to the dealership (for an oil change, VSI, and they checked the tire pressure) then I went out to dinner this evening.

This weekend it is going to be raining, so I won't take my Spyder ride this week. I hope to ride next week, when the weather is better.
