• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ONLY IN CALIFORNIA - DMV!!!

Um I said before they were never voted on by the people or the legislature. They are regulations adopted by the California Air Resources Board and enforced by the DMV. This is all about power, not about pollution. Los Angeles had only 3 smog alerts in 2010. We don't need any more regulations on this topic--we are doing just fine. But we are going to be subjected to more--they are already talking about outlawing burning wood in household fireplaces, and EVERY YEAR we have to defend our freedom to BBQ on charcoal in your own back yard.

True......Just don't vote for the kind of people who put these bureaucrats in power, but Judging from past elections I think we are outnumbered.

I'm thankful I don't have to deal with the California DMV anymore!!! They are a real pain in the a$$! I know this thread was started a long time ago, but I think it's funny that they are sticklers on this "law". In California you can take the drivers written test in like 7 different languages. If you can't read/speak english how are you going to communicate with a law enforcement officer or read road signs with words? Sometimes I wish we could put up a boarder fence around the California state line!!! They could call the new country The Federation of California. Sorry, I hate California DMV and this was a good place to rant....
