So let your weather news posts begin for March.
Read and Enjoy the News.
Looking forward to the posts from you. ....

Well, it's Officially Autumn here in Oz now, and the local Hills weather has obliged by dropping outta the mid/high 30's (°C) into the high 20's/low 30's; at least, that's what's forecast here for the next week!

It was pretty warm here in the Adelaide Hills last week, while much of the coastal verge & low lying areas around the rest of the Country were either bracing for flooding rains or they were already inundated & paddling towards the nearest high ground! :helpsmilie: Some places copped over 1100mm of rain in 24 hours; altho there was one spot near Mt Glorious up in the FNQ Tablelands that was feeling really soggy after scoring over 1770mm - that's pushing 70 Inches! :yikes:

Here in the Hills we were told to expect some flooding thunderstorms over the weekend just past, but we missed that front entirely; altho much of the Adelaide Plains (about 40 km or more away ;) ) did have the thunderstorms dump their guts and cause the floods that we were on the look-out for!?!..... nothing over a metre deep tho! :banghead:

That Dorothea McKellar lady obviously wasn't kidding when she wrote about 'The Sunburnt Country', with it's Droughts & Flooding Rains! :lecturef_smilie: We had the Bushfires earlier; the decade long Droughts have only just broken in other areas; and it's all been just in time for the floods to hit! :yikes: It's moments like these that we're really thankful we're living UP HIGH in the Hills.... altho I gotta admit that the creeks not too far away from us did burst their banks in one of the earlier rain periods.... but it'd still take a whole LOT of water to flood us out.... not quite so much to surround us & cut us off for a while tho! :gaah:

But I do hafta give thanks   that at least it's only the weather we've got to contend with. There are places where they've got a lot worse things to worry about atm! So we're keeping them in mind & sharing those :pray:ers! . ;)

Happy March 1 from NW Arkansas. Bluebird sky, sunny, and we hit 80 degrees on our ride today. Three more days of similar temps on the horizon.

Florida Spring is already here. It is in the 60s at night and 75 to 85 during the day. It is short sleeve weather again. Pear trees all bloomed out. Plum trees blooming too. Grass is green and flowers everywhere.

March started with beautiful sunny weather here in the desert S.W. Today it got to 84. The next couple days are forecast a high of 87. Then it will cool back down into the mid 70s for a while. No clouds and very light winds. Perfect riding conditions. Stay safe..... Jim

Dam, a foot of snow this morning here in northern mexifornia in the sierras. Yesterday there were 2 forrest fires in the north sacramento valley. Drought one day, snow the next? Go figure? My preference though is to be snowed in rather than being burned out!

Record High temps for Sunday 3/6/22 .... In the next twn over from me ( Montpelier Vt. ) the record was 57 F .... Well that got demolished by 11 degree's F .... to 68 F .....:gaah:.... serious snow melt ..... Could have gone for a ride, however my long driveway is a mess .... Mike

Well ... To say the least, WI weather is messed up. A EF1 tornado hit my neighborhood Saturday night. My damage was limited to a downed fence/missing shingles/broken tree limbs. Others fared worse with missing roofs/decks/etc. NO injuries :). Sunday night into noon today is bringing a 3-5" snowfall. Sheeesh ..............

Just got back from our most recent sled trip. Saw everything, cold, wind, snow, rain and warm on the last day. From 20 below to 65 on the ride home. Couldn't believe the extremes just in two states in the period of 8 days.

Here in North Carolina, we had lower 70's for Saturday. A buddy and I rode 240 miles of mixed roads (some 4 lane some back roads). Sunday was even nicer at 82 degrees. I decided to ride the BMW to church and back, which was 110 miles round trip. After getting "the look" from the wife I decided to chill and hang with her the rest of the afternoon. I still can't convince her to ride her spyder yet, but I will keep working on her.
