Wonderful

Today it will get to 82 here in the desert S.W. Winds are light and there are no clouds. By mid-week we will get to the high 80s before cooling down to low 80s for next weekend. Will get a little pool time in between rides.

Most of the homes here have fruit trees and the fruit is now "ripe". Our community donates excess fruit to the local food bank. We have bins set up outside the Administration building. They are 4 feet by 4 feet square and 4 feet deep. There is a bin for grapefruit, one for lemons, and another for oranges. Yesterday they were all full.

Stay safe..... Jim

Wow, that is a good thing to do. I hope everyone gets some good fresh fruit and enjoys it. Anything on vegetables?
Thanks for your time. ......

I was able to get some 'wind therapy time' yesterday.
Rode for about 2 hours and got 61 miles. I had to make a couple of short stops, business you know.

Today 64°F, with some clouds, low of 43°F.

Have a Blessed Day My Friend. ........

HAPPY ST. PATRICK DAY.......:shemademe_smilie:

Yesterday's miles are in the book. Just got to love all the 'Spyder Ryde Time'. Indiana has been hit with sunshine for four days now and 68°F + .
Currently a clear sky and 45°F.

Today we will top out at 74°F with sunshine. Low of 48°F.
Now calling for some rain showers tomorrow morning.
3 Days till Spring. ....:firstplace:

Ryde when you can and be Safe. ......

Today's temp was 65 degrees, and sunny.

Tommorow temps in 50's and 60's, clouds thicken up on Friday night with rain and light mix developing. Most of the precipitation will fall as rain, and will continue to fall during the day on Sat. Saturday will be dreary and cooler with periods of rain. Showers continue into Saturday night and thru the start of Sunday. Cooler temps return on Sunday afternoon, changing the lingering rain to snow showers over to a light mix, mainly in the higher elevations for Sunday evening and Sunday night.

Temps next week will be in the 40's. (Off topic: the sled season is done until next winter, i was rode my sled 4 times this winter, Life got in the way).

Sunday is the first "official" day of Spring. By the calendar.

We are getting a head start. Our grass is green and the leaves in our yard are popping out. In a week, they should be in full leaf. We have been bouncing between 70 and 60 the last three days.

On a ride the 17th...we saw many trees that were "leafing" out.

Happy first day of Spring.

Seventy degrees, blue skies, no cold winds. After church, we took our Mule out for a ride on the dirt roads. Enjoyed the Spring feel to everything today.

Our wind therapy session was Neck Yoke rd to S. Rockerville rd., (the first part of this video: https://youtu.be/0_EIrg3pUAc. ). as far as the turn to Keystone. Instead of right, we went left to catch Playhouse rd. and S. playhouse rd to NeedlesHwy. Needles Hwy is still closed until April 1st, but Iron Mt. Road is open…

Today's ride in the desert S.W. was diversified. We saw winds, RR train delay, traffic congestion, some quick rain showers, (sprinkles, really), & some idiot drivers. It got to about 74 degrees for a high. Still a bit breezy but that is supposed to end later tonight. Then we will experience a warming trend and get to the low 90s by next weekend. Stay safe..... Jim

:gaah:..The Local area weather is rain and more rain.
Got 2" of rain yesterday and thought that was enough for the week. Currently 54°F with lots of rain.

Today 61°F with rain, low 41°F and some more rain. ...:banghead:

No Spyder Ryde Time for me. .......

Things are warming up, still windy ! Sleds are going away. time to wake up the Spyder and boat. Seasons go fast !!

Cloudy with some rain here. Same for the next three days or so. Supposed to be 70's next week. The rains are greening up the grass. Probably going to cut it before the end of March.

The bad storms yesterday tracked to our east and south. We got rain, but none of the bad effects that went with the system that passed us by.

Thursday 3/24/22

:coffee:..Rain...Rain and more Rain. That's my yesterday's report. I have about 3" of water standing in my backyard. The ground is very saturated with water everywhere.
I need many sunny days to help dry out the yard.
My first cut will be sometime in April do to all the rain.

News People are taking about flooding issues for all the low land areas. The nearest creek is beginning to look like a river. There is no danger of any problems for me, thankfully.

Today is supposed to be a dry day. Currently 42°F with some clouds. High of 46°F, low of 37°F.

Stay Healthy and Stay Safe. .....
