• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

everyone here is talking about their rights to own a gun, fine. what about my 1st. amendment right to shout fire in a movie
theater & watch the stupid trample over each other running out so i can post on youtube. what about not being able to smoke
around others just because they can get cancer from second hand smoke, so what.
i want to hang myself in my living room, why am i not allowed?!
now i'm sure everyone will give a reason how ridiculous that is but why can't anyone here give an answer on what should
be done to curb gun vioience? complaining is our right but so is coming up with a solution, at least our president is trying.

me i don't think we need new laws we just need to enforce & stiffen up the laws we already have. if you or your gun is
used in a crime, any crime the extremely large fines & jail time should be enforced. you shouldn't be afraid of the punishment
if you don't plan on breaking the law.
DON'T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME

You may shout fire in an open theater if you wish. Not exactly a 1st amendment issue, but not advisable.

You can hang yourself if you want, no one is stopping you. It is your right. Wether that's advisable or not may be up to those who know you best.

The right to defend oneself is a whole different issue.

What's being done about keeping America safe?
Releasing terrorists, keeping the borders wide open, allowing sanctuary cities to host dangerous criminals, turning the public against police officers, undermining their authority to do anything sensible with illegals, turning class against class and color against color, etc, etc, and then trying all possible action to make sure you can take away the citizens' ability to defend themselves....yeah, I'd pretty much say "King Husain" is a real humanitarian.

The only thing I can add to this thread is for you to look at everything that Pres O has done and ask yourself if it has moved the US closer to being a Muslim nation. You be the Judge. I have already made up my mind. That said "Come and try to take em".

RESPONSIABLE GUN OWNERS ONLY!

yes there is a problem... Not enough RESPONSIABLE gun owners.
Too many IDIOT/criminals/LAWERS.

DiBlasio is an idiot. Just like many of the folks who advocate civilian disarmament. No gun manufacturer makes "assault rifles" for sales to civilians. When will these people learn that "assault rifles" have been illegal for civilian ownership since 1938?!?!
Oh! I forgot! If you say the same lie often enough, and with enough emotion, it becomes truth, even though the facts remain the same.

There is the very real chance that the President's new E.O. is going to backfire on him. Right now, the holder of a Federal Firearms License (FFL) has many advantages that the run-of-the-mill gun owner doesn't. They can ship and receive guns by mail, for example. To get an FFL, there is a requirement that the applicant be doing business selling and buying firearms. ATF will disapprove an FFL for the average gun collector or private citizen. By expanding what is considered as "doing business" the President has, very likely, made it easy for the average Joe to obtain an FFL, allowing purchase, transfer, mailing of firearms.

While I agree... It ALSO opens your front door to inspection of your records, by ATF agents at any time.

That's why my Grandpa Denman turned his in...

In order to get an FFL you have to have a place of business. You can't sell from your home and qualify for FFL. My bro looked into it.
