• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

another gun control problem we might be facing

What?

So what is really in this unconstitional " law " ?????? We won't really know untill it's published, because Barry is a first class lier ( as are most politictions). Barry has made a mockery of our Constitution since before we elected this " community organizer "

What the H€!! did we expext:mad:

AND---- the clintons ( ya get a twofer ) will just keep on the same slippery slope.

Kaos

It's kind of like what the Witch from California said about the Affordable Care Act:
"We have to pass it first, and then we'll be able to see what's in it." nojoke

Yeah... Just like a stool sample! :gaah::cus::gaah:

so basically the way he wants it is if one brother or sister wants to give or sell a gun to another family member or friend, that person that is giving or selling the gun must have a FFL license. or risk a jail term. so right there a person needs to used a licensed gun dealer who will do a background check.

as far as gun safety goes, the idea of a finger print reader or something that makes the gun safe from others using it, not a bad idea as far as i am concerned but how fast and accurate will the system be.

What jail term? Executive orders are NOT laws. How can you be arrested for violating a "law" that doesn't exist. Defense attorneys will have a field day with this. It has been said that executive orders "carry the weight of law" but for who? If there is no specific law that can be cited by prosecuters how can a person be charged with breaking it?

I always have my PAL with me.

Here in Canada for years we have had to have a pre approved licence to purchase guns.
The last version years ago is a PAL, possession and acquisition licence. It is plastic card with photo ID and mag strip on back. You need to show it to buy guns from anyone and I just show it and walk out with my purchase of long guns. You need a restricted endorsement for hand guns. More money for the government!! Lol
all this does very little to curb gun violence on the streets. Surrey BC is in news often with shootings.

Try and defy one of his "Executive horse-:cus:", and see what happens... :gaah:

Nothing will happen.

Someone will defy the order/law in a district with an anti-gun judge and will be convicted. Then they'll appeal and it will make its way through the courts. But before it can be finally decided in the Supreme Court, there will be another president - hopefully one who will undo *****'s extra-constitutional executive actions.

When the Nazis took control of a country, they went after registered gun owners. They must have had a good reason.

:D Is that what we should be calling them? :dontknow:
What I called them might have been a little bit more accurate; but your description plays better in "Polite Society"!

:D You and my Missus just HAVE to be related!

Although she doesn't like the idea of having to pay to house these Mutts forever...

A bullet to the Brain; out behind the Courthouse!
That's her motto! nojoke

Winner winner, chicken dinner. There is absolutely no reason to keep these "mutts" on earth. They will NEVER contribute anything positive to society. NEVER

Hi Jerry,
Are you saying that their movie is REAL? :D
Folks that put themselves in these position, don't end up there because of their high standing in their communities.
I honestly haven't followed any of the stories about this movie; can you enlighten me about what happened? :dontknow:

You're not supposed to have one. The gun show loophole has been a problem for a long time. Personally, I'd like to see it closed. I'm not opposed to people having guns, but I certainly would like to see those with certain mental disorders to be restricted from getting them.
everyone makes a big stink about the so-called gun show loophole, but nobody has released a stat on the volume of this so-called problem.

Thank you! :2thumbs:

There is no gun show loophole. You cannot purchase a gun from a licensed dealer at a gun show without going through a background check. You also cannot have a gun delivered directly to you via an Internet purchase. You can shop and pay for one but you must go to a licensed dealer to actually take delivery of the weapon.

Summary of yesterday's lies: http://bit.ly/1RavfVr

One of the things our dear leader wants to do is extend who is required to have a federal license. It's all about getting more of the forms from purchasers so they can build a database of who own's a gun.

everyone here is talking about their rights to own a gun, fine. what about my 1st. amendment right to shout fire in a movie
theater & watch the stupid trample over each other running out so i can post on youtube. what about not being able to smoke
around others just because they can get cancer from second hand smoke, so what.
i want to hang myself in my living room, why am i not allowed?!
now i'm sure everyone will give a reason how ridiculous that is but why can't anyone here give an answer on what should
be done to curb gun vioience? complaining is our right but so is coming up with a solution, at least our president is trying.

me i don't think we need new laws we just need to enforce & stiffen up the laws we already have. if you or your gun is
used in a crime, any crime the extremely large fines & jail time should be enforced. you shouldn't be afraid of the punishment
if you don't plan on breaking the law.
DON'T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME

For starters: the President is trying address this horrible problem from just one angle: the availability of firearms.
He hasn't even mentioned looking at the Justice System, the availability of care for the mentally disturbed, the changes in attitudes toward Law Enforcement personnel, or how the breakdown in Family values has created a class of citizen that no longer care about anything but their own personal instant gratification...

His approach leads me to believe that he has absolutely NO interest in solving the problem; he just wants to take away our rights to own firearms... :gaah:

Show me a workable multifaceted approach to a solution, and the gun-owners of this Country will do their part!
