P.S. i am not against people owning a gun but sort of like stopping people from driving a 3 second car on the road or doing

And the answer, is that we already have over 22,000 laws on the books, regarding the ownership, transfer, and usage of firearms. If the Courts would simply apply those laws to the criminals: :2thumbs:

Guns bought and sold at gun shows are not illegal. You can bet that the BATFE has agents circulating in gun shows looking for such activity. That is when they are not doing their own gun running. Google "Operation fast and furious" for more info. As pointed out there are gun laws out the wazoo already on the books but they are not being enforced.

so basically the way he wants it is if one brother or sister wants to give or sell a gun to another family member or friend, that person that is giving or selling the gun must have a FFL license. or risk a jail term. so right there a person needs to used a licensed gun dealer who will do a background check.

as far as gun safety goes, the idea of a finger print reader or something that makes the gun safe from others using it, not a bad idea as far as i am concerned but how fast and accurate will the system be.

that is a main problem, no range time with friends and having them try your gun. would this also apply to a range officer that wants to try and help you site in your gun
