Wrapping/striping a frunk with matte or denim paint - Results?

Question for those who wrapped or decaled a frunk that is matte or denim paint. For those who have done this, are you happy with the results? I have a 2022 RT S2S with the matte/denim mystery blue paint. The finish is not exactly a smooth finish, and it can feel a little coarse. I'm pondering adding some wrap my spyder frunk stripes, but not sure how the adhesion would be on this paint finish? I see no disclaimers on www.wrapmyspyder.com For those who might have done this, can you share your thoughts or experience? Thx

My 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky has a matte white finish.

I applied a decal to my frunk lid.
I first washed and dried the frunk lid.
The hardest part was aligning the decal and then getting all the bubbles out. Adhesion has not been a problem.

Martin The Vlogger has a 2022 Spyder RT S2S almost totally wrapped with some funky white and red decals.

They seem to hold very well.

I applied a Black Panther wrap on my 2021 F3S matte finish frunk. After a thorough cleaning, alcohol wipe, and air dry, the application was pretty straight forward. There was no problem with initial or continued adhesion. As previously stated, it takes a little work to get all the bubbles out.

I used the mid - size decals from East Coast Vinyl Werkz to put some hotrod style flames on it about 4 years ago. They are still in good condition. It stays parked inside a shop when it is not on the road. Keeps most of the hot sun off of it. Not sure that is matt paint. It is the standard colors of the 2019 Special Series. It is fairly smooth surface. The silver colors are not as smooth as the fenders and other black tupperware.

I am happy with my '22 S2S.
Went with Wrap My Spyder Tri-Wing Carbon Fiber. Put these on in August of '22, been through a lot of weather and there is no lifting. I just followed the instructions as written, very happy with the results.

Off topic, but relative. The paint was so rough on SpyderDeb's '23 F3-L SS, that it would catch fibers in a microfiber cloth when cleaning. She opted for a full body paint, which was a pain and carried more expense than a wrap. Aaron B. Smith, BSM Paintworks, Weatherford, TX, did a great job on the custom paint color.

I like that! I was thinking metallic silver GT stripes for the frunk/trunk, but I really like the CF look. I was going for gray/silver look, and the CF has it. Thanks

I have said many times that a 50's color like this would look good on a Spyder. Add a couple of white or cream colored panels and I think you would have the total look. Great looking Spyder.

Since it's still too cold in WI to apply my WrapMySpyder stripe kit outside, I decided to bring the hood/top case inside

Black carbon fiber look wrap on my 2022 RT S2S mystery blue. I took the luggage rack off and filled holes with stainless steel button head screws/rubber washers. Me likey
