Howdy Y'all.
I acquired a 2022 (used) Sea to Sky that has a couple of scratches and polished areas on her pretty blue satin/matte paint. (Paint is Mystery Blue Satin). When seeking a paint code for touch up paint, I reached out to BRP and was provided the following response:
Thank you for providing me with the VIN.
I was able to locate all the parts' paint codes, but unfortunately, the Mystery Blue paint code is not available.
:hun: You will need to contact a dealership so that they can contact their support team to see if they can get the paint code for the Mystery Blue. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
The following parts all have the Carbon Black (Satin) paint code BASF - 870215/PPG -935126
Central handlebar support
Upper and lower handlebar supports
Handlebar
Muffler (front and lateral heat shields)
Muffler (end piece)
Driver's and Passenger's Floorboards
The following parts have these colours and paint codes of
Hyper Silver BASF -796411/ PPG- DBC 922715
Carbon Black (Satin) BASF - 870215/PPG -935126
Petrol (Metallic) BASF -962477/ PPG 975588
Deep Marsala BASF -962536/ PPG -975589
Hood
Front fenders
Upper LH and RH fairings
LH and RH vent panel
Lower LH and RH fairings
LH and RH top case fairings
Side trunk covers
You can take these paint codes to an Auto body shop to have the paint mixed for you.
If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to reply to this email or call us at 1-888-272-9222.
As y'all can see, the codes above may be useful to quite a few, but didn't solve my dilemma. I am confused. Mystery Blue Satin is BRP/Can-Am's own color which they chose for their top tier, 2022 edition of their RT Limited Sea to Sky.
I have been to two dealers. One referred me to Colorrite.com, (who doesn't have it and asked for the paint code) and both Colorrite and the other dealer asked me to contact BRP directly. What would you recommend that I do now???
