• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where did you get your "Handle"?

When I was younger, I liked speed and I drove what my friends called an old buggy, hence, speedbuggy.
This was also my cb name.

Hey Man!

I used to try and keep up with my mates Suzuki GS400 on my Honda CD175 so have a guess:-)
YOU'RE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!
Dus kidding. Forgot the water goes down the drain the other way in your neck of the woods. How did we ever live without smart phones, Go-Pros, Fit Bits, and stuff?

Handle

Lost my leg in '10 finally fitted with a C Leg prosthesis... Kind of like it too. C Leg and Spyder:roflblack::roflblack::p

Born and raised in a mountain valley in Central Idaho, came back to Idaho to retire, love to ride mountain highways, and of course, own a Spyder!

I was a distributor for Zapp's Potato Chips from Louisiana, the best chips in the world!
OMG, I tried those chips 2 years ago. By far the best I've had. Was stationed with some LA boys in Afghanistan that there folks qould send them. Spicy Cajun Crawtators are my favorite.

Old VietNam Vet and I enjoy and work with veterans and the VFW. Commander of my local VFW many times and District Commander. When I first joined Spyder lovers. I was looking for a screen name I was using the computer at the VFW and someone came in and said come on Commander we have a meeting to go to so I put Commander down for the screen name and I have been trying to think of something else to change it to.

Ton of responses on this, some clever ones. Mine is rather boring i guess. This goes back to choosing a yahoo email 20 years ago and even then everything (as others have said) was "that user name already exists" So L.A. is where i am from Tony is my name and instead of it giving me latony random number i went with something that represents something i like (Bond fan) and was easy to remember and for others to remember so latony007

Patriot Guard Riders

I'm the New Orleans Ride Captain of the Patriot Guard Riders. Been a central ministry in my life since Nov 2006 when I attended my first funeral mission.

Some things just hang on...

About 23 years ago I used to do some internet developing and had a company called Spiderville Consultants, so I was always known as spidergreg... Long before I even knew that Spyders existed!:spyder2::2thumbs:

I use to drive big rigs, long time ago. Picked up my handle because I like to drive at night. Nightshift is what I'm called.
