• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where did you get your "Handle"?

Handle

Got mine "Unclegeezer" from my & wife's nieces and nephews . We rode up to a family get together one day, one of the kid's said look at the old Geezer on the motorcycle so it started:clap:.

I spent 30+ yrs as a Army Helicopter pilot ! A lot of that time I flew Medevac mission, combat and peace time !!! Dustoff was what they called the Medevac aircraft !!!

Handle

Mine is kind of tongue in cheek , as I have an unearned reputation of being a hard ass superintendent .

Mine is kind of boring- I'm the VP of quality for a pharma company and have been in the field for 25 years. My handle is QA for quality assurance sam for Sam and the extra m for my last name.

Sam Mancuso
2015 F3-S and 2009 RS

Mine is based on when I was stationed overseas in a mechanized infantry unit. The papagolf was my military nickname based on the military phonetic alphabet for my initials. P.G. is papa golf!

I grew up is a large family and we loved to camp and travel. The only way my parents could afford to take us was they bought a 1958 school bus and me and my dad spent hours in the evening converting it to a motorhome. Our last name is Lyons so my dad let me paint "LYONS DEN" on the side of the bus with a cartoon lion head in between the words Lyons and Den. After I grew up my wife and I purchased a new motorhome and the plates were lynsden. So I try to always use lyonsden for a username and when I can't I use lyonsden999. Some of the greatest memories of my life were in that old school bus and working on it with my dad.

Mine comes from the fact I owned a underground construction company doing sewer and water projects all over the state of Alaska

for many years, Also had a country band called The Ditch diggers.

my plate says "ME&GOD" there is a song by Josh Turner called Me &God. If you listen to the lyrics you will understand the plate. When I am riding in the breeze it is only ME&GOD. Thank you;)

I am curious as to the inception of some of our "Screen Names" or "Handles" :chat:

Mine is rather simple, My name is Joe and i ride a RT which I consider a cruiser (others will argue this fact I know):shocked:

Thus my "handle" is Cruzr Joe ( The spelling is abbreviated because all they would let me put on the Lic. Plate was "CRUZR"):thumbup:

Whats the story behind yours.
:dontknow::dontknow:

Cruzr Joe

Mine (BIG F) came from my sons little league team many years ago. I used to toss batting practice to them and some of the kids complained I threw too hard and they starting calling me Big F and have ever since??? all of my adult friends picked up on it many years ago also.
Several years ago I got BIG F for my truck license plate and you can imagine the questions I get what that means/represents???????? I tried to get the same plate for my Spyder but the State would not allow it???????
BIG F

RE: a "BIG F" plate...
Try telling the State that it means "Biggest Friend". It's a reference to your Son... nojoke
That ought to melt their soulless hearts! :D

Screen name or handle

My handle "teddybear" came from a bar maid that I was teasing the h*** out of. She came up to me and put her arm around my neck and said "you are nothing but a big teddybear," and from that day on that's what it's been.

My wife's handle is Barbwire. She got that name when we were in Texas riding the back roads with the Goldwing group we rode with. She was on a lowered Harley Fatboy and went into a decreasing radious turn and went off the road, through a barbwire fence then went airborne into an Oak tree, still astride the Harley Fatboy. So being as we both support each other in our doings I thought Fencepost would be a good handle.
