• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wishing the best for those who have already invested. Not holding my breath until the Elio hits the streets though.

If they can sell the car for less than they have been advertising, how are they going to make any money at all??????

I don't understand why this guy hasn't been shut down. This is ludicrous and a real slap to the people who paid the full price. Does anyone here think this makes any sense? You can barely buy a decent motorcycle for the full price. He will end up in Madoffville real soon. Imho :lecturef_smilie: btw, if you can't come up with the cash by Sept 1, you'll still get a 25 percent discount. What a guy.

Pep Boys are the official service centers....what no dealers..?? You will also get a bumper sticker with the T shirt and reduced price. So whatever your getting for $6,800 you will now get more for even less....:yikes: They cut some corners somewhere perhaps in that final few words " off the final price"...:roflblack:

The most they'll let you put down is $1000 so you'll get $500 off. Total price will be $6300.

If they can sell a Nissan Micra here in Canada for $9998 then I'm sure $6800 is do-able for something that weighs half as much, has three less doors, one less wheel, two fewer seats and half as much horsepower. I really don't know if it's a scam and you don't know that either. They sure seem to be trying to get this thing to market though.

I have and I think Bernie Madoff's business plan made almost as much sense.

The fact that an established company like Nissan must charge almost 30% more for a vehicle seems to me to be more evidence for my opinion than yours but time will tell.

Common sense says its a scam. You can't buy a Rotax 2 stoke 65 HP motor for $6800. An AC unit alone would prob be over a 1K. Nope, ain't gonna happen. :sour:

But you can get a Slingshot for 25K .............
