• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I dunno, in my experience, very few, if any, 'reputable businesses' have a 'refund on return' facility for custom ordered &/or made goods - off the shelf stuff, maybe, but not custom made or altered gear like the seat under discussion, which I'm pretty sure is the seat that @07PSDCREW referred to here:

https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/review-of-ultimate-seat.162791/#post-1747131

And it's not as if Ultimate Seats don't spell out that custom ordered or altered seats aren't returnable/refundable in their documentation here:

https://ultimateseats.ca/extended-test-ride

Here's the specific quote:

Exceptions:
The return policy does not apply to seats with custom colors, custom embroidery, seats made without logos or seats ordered without driver backrest bracket. ...
Just Sayin'
Thanks, Peter. I wasn't aware it was a custom seat.

Hello everyone. This is my first post from Japan. I'm using translation software, so I apologize if the sentences are a bit gimmicky. I ride a 2020 RT-L. I was having trouble with the seat opening being too small. It seems to have been improved from the 2024 model. I made a replacement using the parts used in the 2024 model as a reference and installed it. The seat opening is now larger, so it's more comfortable.

Rode the wife's spyder out for about an hour yesterday after church just to keep the battery charged up. Supposed to be rainy and cool all week here in NC, but nice this coming weekend. With Saturday being the latest sunset we will have for a while after the time change, I think I will try to schedule a small group ride somewhere. Since it's almost November, it is not too early to make our annual Fruitcake run to Southern Supreme factory in Bear Creek.

Welcome! Don't know if I have seem anyone post up here from Japan. Welcome to the community. Funny thing, my daughter is vacationing in Japan at this very moment. She is supposed to be flying back into the US this coming Thursday. Waiting on a report from her to decide if the wife and I will follow up. She tells me that I would really stand out there if I go to visit. Seems like not many 6'-2", 265 pound black guys there, LOL!
