• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went for a short ride to where I store my motorhome, because I thought I had lost the 2nd set of keys to the F3S during our move and living in the motorhome for 3 months. Searched the whole house, but didn't find them. Dang it man!
Then I remembered they were still in the motorhome. Thankfully, they were. Disaster averted! :-)
But more importantly, I really wanted to ride so that I could hear the exhaust note coming out of the Akrapovic. It didn't disappoint.

Ran a few errands between rain showers.
Got a ride planned for this weekend up at Ruth Lake, CA.
My Brother and I are going up, finally, to see an old friend and riding partner. I haven't seen him in 10 years. He's a very accomplished Sport bike rider. He gave it all up a while back. Recently he bought a Store & Bar up on the Lake. It's the only one up there. Anyway, it'll be a 160 mile round trip of the twisty's in the mountains.
It's an awesome ride.

I washed it a few days ago. Today I it out for a lunch run with my bride. Normally it is a 28 mile (41 minute) shot from our home to the restaurant, but we took the 68 mile (1 hour 20) scenic route today. The more we ride the Spyder, the more we love it. Now that the temperature is more reasonable, we should be on it much more often.

Got me a spooder anti-lost dongle

And it fits! It's just sitting loose in there, but when the frunk is closed it's not going anywhere.

I've also got another stuck to the bottom of the coolant reservoir access panel, because I can 😂

Rode up to Rurh lake to visit our pal who just bought this place a year ago. It's literally out in the middle of nowhere in the mountains. It was a beautiful Fall day, 75°, sunny, with a light breeze.
Our burgers, fries, & beans were delicious. It was good to see Fred & his wife.
