• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Back at trying to adjust the belt alingment. I thought I had it but the belt is now running on the front sprocket outer flange. Just can't catch a break.

2 hrs round trip to BajaRon's. On the way back I got rained on for 30 minutes and it was dirty road grime. It hasn't rained in a while. I hate a dirty bike, so I gave it a good bath once home. Whew, it was hot! Thankfully we have a pool to cool down in.

Just back from the Western PA Retreads Motorcycle Club's rally in Franklin, PA, (north of Pittsburg). We took 2 short days getting up there since the temps were in the mid 90s and very humid. Very well organized rally, lots of fun. 3 guided rides per day visiting places like the Cummings Diesel Engine Plant for a tour, Greenberg Cadillac Museum for a tour, and the National Packard Museum also for a tour. Total mileage for the week was 1130 miles. This is our second multi-day tour and we packed less stuff. We still have room for improvement in packing.

57 attendees with many bikes being ridden two up. I estimate there were 38 bikes total which includes about 12 trikes and 5 sidecar rigs.
Two more firsts for my wife; longest ride in a day 311 miles, and first really heavy rain storm.

Rode today for the first time in almost a month. Unfortunately, it was a ride to Urgent Care. I'm ok. Just needed some good meds for my reactive asthma caused by my allergies. At least I got to ride though.

Yesterday, Rode 450+ mile loop preparing for a buddies first IronButt SS1K ride, Friend Dalmar has approx 12,000 miles on his 10 month old Northern tier Spyder RTL.
It was a beautiful day, great weather, and mild traffic on the I's.
