• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Turn Signel Lever, left

Has anyone had to repair the lever? Something came loose in there and it doesn't attivate the left turn. Hoping I can repair this. 2012 RT SE5

Please keep us posted on your attempts and successes at opening the left signal module.
I have tried and found the unit to be sealed and the internals to not be accessible.
Others have been able to access the PTT switch and make modifications so I trust
the unit can be opened just not successfully by me.
Good Luck, David C.

You might try just excising it a little. I have had to do that with mine. I take the mirror off and unplug it and then plug it back in making sure the connections are clean and then work the handlebar switch back and forth a hundred times so it cleans itself and makes good contact. I would try that first. I have had that issue and it cleared up by doing this. I have a 2012 RTL SE5

I just replaced mine on my 2013 rt se5. It is a sealed unit, no way to replace or repair dir switch. I found one on ebay for $44.00. A little work to replace though. My old one still works, but I had to always push in while turn on left directional.

Mine is beginning to fail too. I'm glad to hear that the switch can be purchased separately and I won't have to change the whole left housing.
Whys is it only the left one failing? Do we pull too hard on it?
