• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Throttle return spring problem

After I installed the heated grips I can't seem to get the throttle return spring to stay hooked in the hole. I've been riding without the return spring which makes low throttle movement extra sensitive. I have moved the throttle shaft collar to every possible position. Anybody else have a problem after installing heated grips on 2015 F3's? :banghead::banghead:

I am unsure if you are brave or crazy, or a little of both, but if you cannot get your throttle return spring
to attach correctly, you should ground your ryde and break down and hit the dealer, or redo your install,
or something.
Pointing your near thousand pound missile at traffic w/o positive throttle return ? please

I had that problem when I installed my helmet locks.
All I had to do was stretch the spring just a little so
I could line up the spring with both holes. Just don't over stretch.

It's only a problem at 1/16 throttle---more throttle than that it returns just fine--snaps back just like it should . 1/32--1/16 " movement is the sensitive portion. You might be right on the crazy part. 2007 stage 2 turbo Hayabusa--weighs 525# ---343 rwhp--212# torq.
