• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SPRINGFIELD WEATHER

BLUEKNIGHT911

Sadly Passed Oct 2024 - RIP
Two weeks ago things were not looking great for Springfield weather :yikes::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: ............ How things can change ....much warmer and much sunnier now forecast :clap::clap::clap: .......... and don't worry Mother Nature doesn't read my posts :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:................. Mike

I was checking that this morning. Yes it looks good but there is still a 30% chance of rain. Always ryde with your rain gear.:agree:

weather....

Although we expect to have some rain,I do hope it's less than more as we all know Spyders aren't the best in the rain, but we do plan on having a GREAT time at the fest!!
Odogg-:trike:

They actually do a pretty darn good job in it...
For a light rain (A bit more than a sprinkle...), you don't even need your raingear... the design of the bodywork shovels the weather around you. :ohyea:
The big issue might be hydroplaning... so slow down a bit! :D

Springfield Weather

I hate to admit it, but that is the biggest reason we don't make Spyderfest as although we live in Oregon where we get 42 inches of rain a year where we live I'm not a fan of spending days of riding in it. I wish it was held later in the year and I bet there would even be more attendees. We make many long distance rides all year long and one or two straight days ain't bad but day after day in the Spring time, not fun anymore.

Our weather says it is going to be 41 degrees with 50% rain when we leave on Tues. 55 for the high. Going to need the long handle underware.

The weather sounds great! Now I may be able to try out my rain gear, test my new windshield and have an extra story to add to my tale!
