There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Ride-On for your Spyder

Ride-On issues?

I put over 100 miles on my Spyder today after putting Ride-On in all three tires. The vibration from 45-55 is horrible! Anyone else experience an issue after installing Ride-On? I realize that it takes awhile to even out, but by now it should be smooth at all speeds. Should I take my wheel weights off all three wheels?

At this point, it's so bad I am thinking about takes the tires off and having it removed!

Whats the dif. between ride on and slime?? I have used slime for yrs with no real problems. Is ride on better than slime??

Very odd! I would call Ride-On and talk to them before doing anything else. Cannot imagine it having this effect if installed properly.

Like the difference between white wash and paint. Ride-On is a totaly different product in many ways.

Ride-On is high tech Slime. It does the job much better than Slime.

UPDATE! As recommended by a phone call from Ride-On, I removed all my wheel weights and my Spyder rides as smooth if not smoother than new! Awesome!:2thumbs:

Can you post a pic of your wheel weights...I have the ride-on to put in and have never even looked to see if i have any weights on the tires...

They look similar to this 12 piece strip. You might have anywhere from one piece to six pieces stuck to your rim. You can't miss them.

Gotcha...thank you...they are glued onto the rim...I probably would've overlooked them when I put the ride-on in as I'm used to those ugly wheel weights that look different...I'll assume you just pull them off...nothing more than using a little elbow grease?

Dun!

Just finished all three wheels- 8oz fronts and 13 oz rear. 30 min tops- Wheel weights off. I ran the Spyder about a 1/2 mile after the rear and then after both fronts were completed- I didn't go over 45 but no sig vibration and she is running very smooth. VERY easy to do and I need easy!

I'm curious about the amount you used. Who recommended it? This is what I went with from Lamonster:

I get a lot of calls, PM's and emails about how much Ride-On to use on the Spyder. The guys at Ride-On are getting the same calls and they have come up with a recommended amount for each tire of your Spyder for best results.

Your front wheels get 13 oz each
Your rear wheel gets 18 oz
You want to order the automotive treatment.
You'll need a total of 44 oz for best results.

Ride On

Thanks Lamonster, I ordered the (4) 16 oz auto kit and saved 10%. Look forward to meeting you someday and I shake your hand and say thanks.:2thumbs:

Looking at the post, I'm curious as to what I was thinking. What you have is what I used. What I listed doesn't even qualify as thought reversal. I think it is more drug induced:opps:
