• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Carl Edwards to retire

He's a young family man, and doesn't want to do that 38 week grind; while his ids grow up without him...
I didn't root for him; but I'm becoming a fan...

Don't know what happened my link. :dontknow:

I always liked him. Was a clean driver, never whined like some others and was well respected in the circuit.

He was fast...
But he wouldn't take crap from anybody on the track! That did get him into some difficult interviews...

Wonder if Kevin Harvick will miss him. Lol.

There was quite a few yrs they didn't get along so well.

On the NASCAR website: Harvick was also musing about retirement...
Maybe they both can move into the same retirement community, and spend their days swiping each other's newspapers and mail. :roflblack:

They can replace Walter matthau and Jack Lemon in the next Grumpy Old Men... :roflblack:

It DID happen suddenly, and it blind-sided his Team also... :dontknow:
With the Daytona 500 coming up in about 5 weeks: the timing couldn't have been worse for them!

It does seem a little odd.
I like Carl and will miss him. Always a good interview and a pretty clean racer and usually admitted when he was at fault.
Brad, not so much.
