There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
bike shut down while riding and not go into limp mode.and now have engine noise.

I need to update my list.
I got my bike in August and have had no real heat issue IMO.
Ive never owned a bike before either so I'm assuming the little bit of heat I feel is normal and maybe that is what others are calling hot.
I added heat/sound insulation to both sides just to make sure that once it gets hot out I don't have the problems others speak of. I also wrapped my exhaust pipes best I could to reduce noise and under plastic heat.
As far as other mods, I added the 12v outlet for convenience, though don't know if I'd ever need it, also hard wired the connector for a battery tender. Best bike mod so far has been the Bajaron sway bar which makes a noticeable difference in/out of corners. Hope to upgrade the shocks also in the future if I find a deal lol

Here is where im at it semes the shop i took bike to let the bike sit for 2 weeks (You know it was the holidays) and then decided to check it out and their anwser was no codes on computer and no signs of any failures.Yep it is Broke. (not sure if that is god or bad for me ) but i did call brp and let them know of the problem and they were surprizeinly concerned and said they would work with shop. and that motor had its own warrantee.YEA.well after 3 more week and no call i contacted shop to see what was going on (ready for this Nothing ) they need instructions from brp for proper teardown.oh and some one to aprove costs. (line of **** if you ask me ) so i went to shop to see what realy is the isue and it is they are too bussy and cant free up 2 techs ( are you serious i said ) yep he tried to tell me it take two tecks to do the tear down due to how compact the bike is. Can it get any better then this. Well i called Brp to see if they have herd anything and they said NO im starting to get pissed now so i asked if i could take it to a different shop? yes only if i want to pay another 320 evaluation prior to tear down and they wont pay that back.so i left it their and will continue to wait and see but at least with my complaint I have been assigned to a BRP supervisor who hopefuly will kick some ass and maybe i will get to ride befor next year.

If you look for dealers for that zip code he either took it to Corona Motor Sports, Bert's Mega Mall, Malcom Smith's, or Whittier Fun Center.
If I had to guess which dealer is jacking with him, I bet it's Corona Motor Sports as that is right near him.
I have never been to that dealer but I have had people tell me they were a good dealer. I guess we should wait for him to tell us which dealer he took it to before pointing fingers. But I too would like to know so I avoid them in the future.

The latest up date and well still in limbo
HERE IS WHERE WE STAND FOR NOW;
I will start by seting the record stright bike is at corona motorsport. Now for the details i had to finaly call BRP back to tell them about the run in i had when i called the dealership and found out the bike had not been looked at and i could not get a retun call to save my life so i went down to look for my self and well well well found out that the guy assigned to my bike had been fired (thanks ) yea no one had the courtisy to call me and tell me. but to then tell me that they would be looking at it in the next week or so and that they did speak with BRP rep and they would be working directly with him. I felt thet this is good and we are moving forward good news is i did get a call form shop forman saying that they would be looking at bike very soon and he would get back to me (Yea ).Progress that is where i should not have got my hopes up . another week went by and yes i got a call and they did start working on it and found a ruptured fuel pump diphram which directly works with and is controled by the throthe body and filled the engine completly with gas causing a hydro lock condition. He semed prety cofident that this was the problem and they would be draining the oil and fixing problem and would advise after their findings. Worst Possibility of a bent rod or valve isues was his concern. ( Bummer ) but at least we are working on it and well you guesed it that is where we still stand today the shops call was 2/4/14 and still no word from shop and or BRP as of today.Realy starting to loose my cool over this but going to try to hang in their for just a bit more. and then im going to unload on BRP firs and then shop ( call me crazy i guess ) and if that back fires then i will try sugestions on lemon law it is wort a shot at this point This is nuts that it takes 4 mounths to get this resoulved..chris

Check me out if I'm wrong but the fuel system is under pressure and the injectors control the fuel delivery not the throttle body also the rupture of a fuel pump diagram would stop fuel delivery to the injectors which would NOT fill the crank case with fuel as a carburated system. Hydro lock on a injected engine usually happens when water in the system escapes to the crankcase . After four months I would be looking for a new tech and or Dealer for repairs.
