• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aspen Classic mods 1

I updated my Bunkhouse camper to the Aspen Classic, still used but much newer.
Of course I had to do a few mods to it.
Pic #1 The standard fiberglass interior of the trailer. Pic #2 I added a sheet of 1/4" plywood to make it flat, then carpeted. Pic #3,4,5 I added batteries, built a box around them, and cover for the box.

#2

I then added a mercury switch and LED lights that come on when opened. Pic#1, Power outlets to charge our headsets, phones, tablet, and run a 12volt fan that hangs from the ceiling when set up. Pic#2 I also added LED lights to the main bar of the tent that are on a remote so we can dim them down. All wires are ran through aluminum channel around the bed, through the poles holding up the roof. There is a battery charger mounted in between the two batteries that you can plug in and charge, but they also charge as you ride.
Added 40 pounds but allows us to charge at tent sites without having electricity.

Really nice looking and should be pretty comfortable to camp in. If I can ask, how much is the total weight of the empty trailer itself?

By any chance could those small batteries fit in your Spyder if you ever needed them to? Wouldn't that be sweet?

No they won't fit, however all I have to do is plug the trailer in and there is a direct fused wire to the Spyder battery. All I would have to do is let it set a bit and it would charge, or if they were low from camping, plug in the charger in the trailer and let it charge all three.

Nice design. Congrats on the mods.

I used speaker box covering or carpet. It can easly be pulled, streached, and contured. Dont pull too hard, it will get too thin and rip. I learned that the hard way.
With the spray contact cement, it is very easy to seam piece togather also.
