Happy old fart
Surely there's a story behind your new avatar??? It's face reminds me of a girl I used to date.
No story there. Notice I said, "ITS face..." You're just upset because I was able to walk into a dealer and pick out a 2014 off the floor with no ordering or waiting. He reminds you of a girl that you used to date?
I would think that there's a story in there also!! :roflblack: :joke::joke::joke:

Thanks. I love knotty pine and I look forward to seeing the bear.Thank you all for noticing. No special story here. I did want to remove the picture of myself sitting on the black widow--soon to be sent to another lucky owner.
Since I am from Alaska, I thought the "biker moose" would make an appropriate avatar until I can come up with something better.
The moose is a beautiful chain saw carving and stands almost five feet high. He stands on one side of the door to my office/den, and I have an additional five foot carving of a bear on the other side of the door.
The artist captures that whimsical look on the faces of his work. I bought the moose in 2008 or so and added the bear in 2010, (a housewarming present to myself) from the same artist of course. I ran into the man at a Holiday crafts expo.
I will take a picture of both and add them to the post in a day or so--just for those who are curious. My home is all done in knotty pine and I thought they added to my pad.

 How do you tag one of those in the Big Game Season? :dontknow:![]()
