• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 F3S stiff clutch pull

Can anyone recommend a fix for the stiff clutch pull on my 2015 F3S? I'm tired of having to find neutral at every stop light or getting cramped left hand. I recall Lamont discussing this but my dealer knows nothing of it. Help?

I believe that BRP did address this issue: tell your dealer to take another look... nojoke
If not: this has also been discussed in the F-3 Section. Use the search feature, and happy hunting!

Little checking..

Google " clutch assist on spyder F3" and you will get some hits. Check with Lamont as well but there is a kit to help. The older models like my 2012 RS came with the assist making the clutch softer at slow speeds or stopped...

yep Spyders have tough hand clutch. I tried one in the showroom and that was enough to stay away from the manual Spyders. It took less then 15 seconds.

I thought about doing something about it, but procrastination and the passage of time has just made my hand stronger. It really doesn't bother me much anymore.

I also have a 2015 F3 S and I was worried about the clutch but I am almost to where I don't notice it unless I have been on a long days ride or a lot of traffic. I would like to feel the difference between mine and one with the clutch assist.

Find someone with a RT manual and try it. RTs' have the clutch assist from the factory.
