That would be a distinct possibility... those vents up front DO seem to allow more airflow through the Tupperware.

I know that it's been tough for you; Hang in there!
I don't think that would happen...
The problems have clearly been noted within the warranty period... The warranty applies even if the repairs take place after the warranty expires.
You're now assuming that it won't work; Why?
Remember: BRP has to satisfy NHTSA also...
You're into it for this much, and this long; the fix is coming, and I bet that it'll work!
BRP doesn't need any more bad press about the bikes!
You have nothing to worry about! :thumbup:I won't have a problem with body panel alteration, except for the front end look of the F3 which I and my wife deride every time we see the commercials on TV. If that is my choice, I'll probably get it done to help trade in value, and then take a serious look at an Indian Chief triked. I absolutely hate the front end look of the F3 lawnmower.
According to Andre from BRP the rules and regulations related to safety recalls prohibit publicizing it until it has been accepted by the regulators. He indicated that has happened but BRP legal probably wants to make sure the announcement is legally fool proof. I don't know, just my guess. It seems that the left hand at BRP does not know what the right hand is doing. Makes me wonder, why all the secrecy? If there is a solution, put it out there.
I'm actually hoping that it will look like the 14 and 15 RTS front end.
I would like to know if the 1330 could be put into the bike? If it would be possible what would the cost be and can this be done instead of the other fix. I would be willing to split the cost of this fix with BRP. Anybody else out there who would be willing to take this option if it was offered???

Hi KennW,
Thanks for asking - yes, in fact, this recall will apply to owners of 2013 Can-Am Spyder RT model worldwide, including Australia. Once I have more information on how the recall will be deployed in other countries I'll let you know right away.
